NRL & NRLW Grand Final 2026

Ticket entitlements

Valid pre-purchased tickets to the NRL & NRLW Grand Final at Accor Stadium include travel to and from Sydney Olympic Park on the following public transport services – just show your event ticket to Transport staff when boarding services:  

• Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations) * International and Domestic Airport Station access fee not included. 
• Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan buses 
• Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses 
• Sydney Metro services. 
• Sydney, Parramatta and Newcastle Light Rail services 
• Sydney and Newcastle Ferries 

Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your event ticket is valid on public transport until 4am the following day.  

* Note: an additional train station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by your event ticket travel entitlements. 

Transport Park&Ride Car Parks

Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours of free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip. Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services.

Tickets to the NRL & NRLW Grand Final include travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket.

If you use a Transport Connect account to access Park&Ride, the boom gate will automatically open as you leave the car park so you’ll need to request a refund in your account.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city. 

The M1 Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham from early morning until late. 

Change at Central to connect with express trains running to Olympic Park. Alternatively, you can connect with Major Event Buses to Olympic Park from Metro North West stations, see details below.

Travel on metro and major event buses is included in your game ticket – simply show your ticket to staff when boarding services. At Metro stations, a dedicated opal gate will remain open for match ticketholders to access the station.

Connect with Major Event Buses

Connect with Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses routes 1A, 1B, 5A and 5B from the following North West Metro stations to get to the match:

• Route 1A: Chatswood and North Ryde stations
• Route 1B: Macquarie Park Station
• Route 5A: Hills Showground and Castle Hill stations
• Route 5B: Tallawong, Rouse Hill, Kellyville, Bella Vista and Norwest stations

Commuter Car Parks

If you have to drive consider parking at one of the commuter car parks at Metro North West stations and connecting with Major Event Buses Route 5A or 5B to Olympic Park.

Large commuter car parks are located at the following stations:

• Tallawong – 1000 spaces
• Kellyville – 1,389 parking spaces, including 97 accessible car spaces. A temporary overflow car park has opened at the corner of Decora Drive and Darani Avenue, offering 150 extra spaces until Dec 2026.
• Bella Vista – 800 spaces
• Hills Showground – 600 spaces

The closest station to Accor Stadium is Olympic Park. From the station, it’s a short 10-minute walk via Olympic Boulevarde to the stadium.

Express trains to Olympic Park from the City and key Western Line stations will run frequently before and after the match to get you there and home again. Regular services also run to Lidcombe to connect with trains to Olympic Park. 

Travel on trains is included in your match ticket, simply show your ticket to staff when boarding services.

Trackwork

Planned trackwork is taking place on Sunday 4 October on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.

Trackwork is carried out on an ongoing basis to maintain the safety, reliability, and efficiency of the Sydney Trains network. For train service disruption information, check trackwork and travel alerts or plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses will run on all nine routes from the Northern Beaches, Inner West, Sutherland Shire, North Western Suburbs, Hills District and Southern Suburbs for the NRL & NRLW Grand Final.   

Travel on Major Event Buses is included in your match ticket – simply show your ticket to the bus driver when boarding services. 

Service Times  

• To Olympic Park: services will run every 5 to 20 minutes between 1:35pm and 6:05pm, depending on the route. Buses will arrive at the precinct from around 3pm until 7pm.
  • Route 1A from Narrabeen Lakes: first bus departs at 1:35pm, last bus departs at 5:35pm.
  • Route 1B from Warriewood B-Line: first bus departs at 1:42pm, last bus departs at 5:42pm.
  • Route 2 from Glebe Point: first bus departs at 2:03pm, last bus departs at 6:03pm.
  • Route 4 from Maroubra Beach: first bus departs at 1:40pm, last bus departs at 5:40pm.
  • Route 5A from Hills Showground Station: first bus departs at 2:14pm, last bus departs at 6:14pm.
  • Route 5B from Tallawong Station: first bus departs at 2:03pm, last bus departs at 5:58pm.
  • Route 6 from Sutherland Station: first bus departs at 1:54pm, last bus departs at 5:54pm.
  • Route 7 from Shark Park Cronulla: first bus departs at 1:35pm, last bus departs at 5:35pm.
  • Route 8 from Dural: first bus departs at 2:05pm, last bus departs at 6:05pm.
    • Please note there are bus stop changes for Route 8 for the NRL & NRLW Grand Final. Some stops in Cherrybrook and Telopea have closed and replaced by new alternative stops nearby. See maps at stops or plan your trip ahead of time.
• From Olympic Park: services will leave Olympic Park approximately every 5 minutes after the match, with the last bus on each route leaving the precinct by 11pm.  

Routes 1A, 1B, 2 and 4 drop off and pick up from the Aquatic Terminal on Olympic Boulevarde near Herb Elliott Avenue. 

Routes 5A, 5B, 6, 7 and 8 drop off and pick up from the Plaza Terminal on Olympic Boulevarde near Kevin Coombs Avenue, opposite Qudos Bank Arena.

Major Event Bus Routes

Search your bus route number at routes and timetables for full timetable details and stop locations. Please note service times will be affected by traffic conditions on the day. For real-time bus service disruptions check travel alerts.

Note: Wheelchair accessible buses will travel on each route, you can also see accessible services in the Trip Planner identified by the wheelchair icon.

Regular Route Buses

The following Sydney bus services run to Olympic Park: 

• Route 525 runs between Parramatta and Lidcombe via Newington – change at Lidcombe to connect with trains to Olympic Park.
• Route 526 runs between Strathfield and Rhodes Shopping Centre via Sydney Olympic Park precinct and wharf.  
• Route 533 runs between Sydney Olympic Park and Chatswood via Rhodes & North Ryde.

Bus Diversions

Buses will be diverting while roads are closed in Sydney Olympic Park during the event.

The closest wharf to Accor Stadium is Sydney Olympic Park Wharf. There is a connecting 526 bus to the venue or alternatively it is approximately a 40-minute walk (3.6km) from the wharf.

F3 Parramatta River services run regularly to Olympic Park, but services are very popular and may reach capacity. Keep this in mind if you’re planning on catching an F3 Parramatta River service. Plan your trip and allow plenty of extra travel time or consider the alternative public transport options available.

F3 Parramatta River ferries may be affected by low tide between Parramatta and Rydalmere and replaced by buses. Check for updates here.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line

L1 Dulwich Hill Line light rail services run between Central Station (Grand Concourse) and Dulwich Hill via Darling Harbour and the Inner West. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Change at Central for express trains to Olympic Park running regularly from early afternoon.

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines

L2 Randwick Line light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford Line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily, plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Change at Central for express trains to Olympic Park running regularly from early afternoon.

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line 

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner. 

Alight at Parramatta Square or Westmead to connect with trains to Olympic Park.

With around 80,000 fans expected, ticketholders are urged to leave the car at home and catch public transport to avoid getting caught in traffic delays. Travel on transport is included in match tickets.

• Do not drive unless you have pre-book parking.  Pre-book online ahead of time to secure a space. A flat rate $40 parking fee apply.
• If you have pre-booked parking, follow the directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry. After the match, traffic will be very heavy as everyone leaves at the same time. Expect to allow up to an hour of additional travel time exiting car parks.
• If you haven't pre-booked parking do not drive to Olympic Park. You will need to catch public transport as there will be no parking available on-site. You can also consider parking at a nearby commuter car park and continuing your trip by train or bus to Olympic Park, at no extra cost. 
• Carpool with your group and allow plenty of extra travel time as significant traffic delays are expected on roads approaching the precinct and entering car parks. Plan your trip before leaving home. You can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at  livetraffic.com.

Avoid the delays and arrive early to enjoy the pre-event atmosphere. Local cafes and restaurants will be open, and Fig Grove will be a hub of food-trucks and entertainment.

If you're getting dropped off/picked up or catching rideshare and taxis:

• Remember that roads will be closed within the precinct. Allow plenty of extra travel time due to the increased traffic expected in the area before and after the match.  For more information on changed traffic conditions and real-time traffic updates, visit livetraffic.com.
• Geo-fenced rideshare restrictions will be enforced across the precinct before and after the match. 
• After the match, demand for taxis and rideshare will be high and prices are likely to be surging. Consider catching a train or bus outside of the precinct to connect with your ride faster. 
• If using rideshare please follow the directions provided in the app to suitable meeting points for pick up and drop off. 
• Taxi ranks are located on Herb Elliott Ave at the Pullman Hotel. An additional taxi rank will be available on Edwin Flack Ave in Coach Pod B opposite the Stadium and will be operational 30 minutes before scheduled finish-time.

Road Closures

Taxis

• Taxi ranks are located on Herb Elliott Ave near Showground Rd at the Pullman Hotel. 
• To help you get home an additional taxi rank will be available on Edwin Flack Ave in Coach Pod B opposite the Stadium and will be operational 30 minutes before scheduled finish-time.
• Demand for taxis will be high after the match, be patient and follow directions of staff on site.

Rideshare

• Geo-fenced rideshare restrictions will be enforced across the precinct before and after the match. 
• If using rideshare please follow the directions provided in the app to suitable meeting points for pick up and drop off. 
• Rideshare prices are likely to be surging and experience delays while roads are closed in the precinct so book your ride early as you leave the stadium.
• Consider catching a train or bus outside of the precinct to connect with your ride faster. 

Accessible

• An accessible pick up and drop off area will be available in Dawn Fraser Avenue off Edwin Flack Avenue, adjacent to the stadium.

Sydney Olympic Park Car Parks

• Attendees must pre-book parking online to secure a space. Parking will be in high demand and is expected to sell out in advance so secure your ticket now. There will be no casual parking on site available. Do not drive if you have not pre-booked a parking spot. 
• Visit Sydney Olympic Park Prebook to secure your parking space – available until 11:59pm the night before the event unless sold out prior. For more information visit parking at Sydney Olympic Park. A flat rate $40 parking fee will apply.
• If you have pre-booked, follow directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry.
• Use Silverwater Road, Holker Street and Hill Road to get to your car park and avoid the heavy traffic congestion expected at the Homebush Bay Drive roundabout.
• Alternatively, consider parking at a nearby train station commuter car park and continuing the trip to Olympic Park by train as frequent additional services will run.
• Carpool with your group and allow plenty of extra travel time as traffic will be heavy. Expect delays on the M4 Motorway, Homebush Bay Drive, Concord Road, Silverwater Road, Ryde Road, Lane Cove Road and Epping Road. You can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at livetraffic.com. 
• Be aware that when leaving after the match, traffic will be very heavy as everyone will be leaving at the same time, so expect to allow up to an hour additional travel time exiting car parks. Avoid the delays leaving carparks and enjoy many of the venues in the precinct that will stay open after the match.

Train Station Commuter Parking

A number of key train stations have large commuter car parks, so consider parking at a station near you then catching one of the extra trains to Olympic Park.

Stations with large car parks on the western line where you can change for a frequent direct train to Olympic Park include:

• T1 Western Line: Seven Hills, Blacktown, Emu Plains, Rooty Hill, St Marys and Penrith.

Stations with large car parks on other train lines that require one interchange by train to get to Olympic Park include:

• T1 North Shore & T9 Northern Line: Gordon, Thornleigh and Concord West.
• T2 Inner West & Leppington Line: Fairfield, Warwick Farm, Leppington and Edmonson Park. 
• T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Sutherland and Kogarah.
• T8 Airport & South Line: Padstow, Revesby, Glenfield, Holsworthy, Macarthur, Campbelltown and Leumeah.
