L2 Randwick Line partial closure due to emergency repairs

From 10.30pm Wednesday 18 September to 1am Thursday 19 September, L2 Randwick Line light rail services will be impacted by closures due to emergency trackwork and maintenance works.

During this time:

• L2 light rail services will not run between Royal Randwick and Randwick.
• Use alternative transport including L2 replacement bus services, regular bus services or walking if able to between Royal Randwick and Randwick.
• L2 light rail services will continue running between Circular Quay and Royal Randwick.

L2 replacement bus services:

From 10.30pm to 1am, replacement bus services will run between Royal Randwick and Randwick every 15 to 20 min. These times may vary depending on road traffic.

Most replacement buses will be accessible; if not, wait for the next service.

Opal readers are located onboard all replacement buses and you must tap on and tap off. A standard light rail fare applies.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line and L3 Kingsford Line light rail services will continue to run as per normal schedule.

Allow extra travel time and use the Trip Planner or check travel alerts to see if your travel is affected. Replacement bus services will not be showing when planning your trip via Trip Planner and the transport apps.

L2 light rail services between Circular Quay and Randwick will resume as normal, from 5am Thursday 19 September.
