Trackwork on the South Coast Lines

From Friday 11 to Friday 18 July, buses will replace trains between Thirroul and Sutherland due to trackwork.

Replacement buses will run between these stations during this time, with extra express services running between Wollongong, North Wollongong and Sutherland.

If travelling to T4 stations or the City from stations south of North Wollongong, catch an express bus to Sutherland then change for a T4 train to continue your journey.

Bus Routes

  • 16SC - Thirroul, all stations to Stanwell Park, then Helensburgh Town Centre (Charles Harper Park), Waterfall, Sutherland and return
  • 29SC - Helensburgh Station, then Helensburgh Town Centre (Charles Harper Park), Otford Station and return
  • 71SC - Thirroul, then express to Sutherland and return
  • 90SC - Wollongong, North Wollongong, then express to Sutherland and return

Trains run will continue to run between South Coast Line stations and Thirroul, and T4 Illawarra trains run to a changed timetable between Waterfall, Sutherland and Bondi Junction.
