L1 Dulwich Hill Line weeknight partial closure due to maintenance
On Monday 23 March, from 10pm to 1am, L1 Dulwich Hill Line light rail services will not run between Central and Convention due to planned trackwork and maintenance works.
During this time:
- L1 light rail services will continue to run between Convention and Dulwich Hill.
- Replacement bus services will run between Central and The Star.
- Use alternative transport including regular bus services, L1 replacement bus services, or walking if able to, between Central Grand Concourse and Convention.
L1 replacement bus services:
Replacement bus services between Central Grand Concourse and The Star will run every 15 to 20 minutes from 10pm to 1am. These times may vary depending on road traffic.
Replacement buses will not stop at the following locations:
- Capitol Square (both directions) - Please use the alternative stop at Paddy’s Market (approx. 5 minute walk) for buses towards The Star, or walk to Central Station (approx. 7 minute walk).
- Exhibition Centre (towards The Star) - Please use the alternative stop at Convention to catch the light rail (approx. 5 minute walk).
Most replacement buses will be accessible; if not, wait for the next service.
Where the replacement bus has an opal reader onboard, and you must tap on and tap off. A standard light rail fare applies.
Allow extra travel time and use the Trip Planner or check travel alerts to see if your travel is affected.
L1 light rail services will resume as normal from 5am on Tuesday 24 March.
