New level of comfort for regional coach network

From Wednesday 1 July, NSW TrainLink coach passengers will enjoy improved services as the first wave of modern Next Generation coaches are progressively rolled out across the network.

The next generation coaches will have upgraded wheelchair lifts to boost reliability, Wi-Fi or mobile reception booster capability, mobile phone charging points, higher quality seating, onboard defibrillators, as well as improved air conditioning and toilets.

The new coaches will service over 360 destinations across NSW and into Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and the ACT.

Altogether, there are 49 routes delivering 638 long-distance services each week, up from the current 592 services across 45 routes.
The new services increase the total coverage of the NSW TrainLink coach network by almost 200,000 kilometres, bringing it to more than 7.15 million kilometres.
