Wagga and Bomen Business Park trial bus services
New Route 970 services operate on weekdays and Saturdays to and from Bomen Business Park, for workers who start early and finish in the afternoon.
Or book ahead for no extra charge to guarantee yourself a seat on Route D970, which offers additional morning, afternoon and evening services on weekdays only.
These services will run on a 12-month trial basis and are part of a major bus network revamp delivered by Transport for NSW in partnership with Busabout Wagga, providing a better, smarter bus network for all of Wagga.
Morning services on Route 970 start at Turvey Park and run through Wagga suburbs to Bomen Business Park.
The D970 route, and stopping pattern of each service, varies depending on the pick-up or set-down stops requested by passengers who book the service. The D970 service will only operate when booked.

Busabout Wagga takes website /online phone and in-person bookings between 8am and 4.15pm.
To travel on a D970 service, bookings are essential and must be made by 4.15pm on the day before travel.

970 services run in the morning and afternoon, Monday to Saturday (excluding Public Holidays).
AM – Towards Bomen Business Park
- Only service: Leaves Turvey Park at 4.48am
PM – Departing Bomen Business Park
- First service: Leaves Bomen at 3.25pm
- Second service: Leaves Bomen at 4.30pm
- Saturday service: Leaves Bomen at 1.00pm
D970 services run in the morning and afternoon, Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays).
Service will only operate when booked.
AM – Towards Bomen Business Park
- First service: Leaves Turvey Park at 5.52am
- Second service: Leaves Turvey Park at 6.58am
- Last service: Leaves Turvey Park at 8.06am
PM – Departing Bomen Business Park
- First service: Leaves Bomen at 5.35pm
- Second service: Leaves Bomen at 6.40pm
Fares
Fare pricing is based on distance travelled, depending on where you get on and off.
Single tickets can be purchased with cash from the driver when you board both 970 and D970 services.
With a pre-paid Ten Trip Travel Card you can enjoy your tenth trip for free. Travel cards are available for purchase from the driver or the Busabout Wagga depot.
- Suburbs between Turvey Park and Kooringal to Bomen Business Park (inclusive) have an introductory fare of $3.50* in both directions
- Suburbs between Wagga CBD and Bomen Business Park (inclusive) have an introductory fare of $2.50* in both directions
*Standard fares may be introduced after the introductory period.
