Broken Hill, NSW

Start Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday

Event information

New festival dates from Thursday 8 - Monday 12 September 2022

The Broken Heel Festival is back in 2022 bringing you headline performances from our nation's best Showgirls, Bio Queens, Drag Queens, Drag Kings and DJ's representing every corner of Australia's diverse community.

Throughout the Festival’s three stages, you'll experience non-stop entertainment, comedy, cabaret, live music and social activities paying homage to the iconic cult movie and stage musical, Priscilla Queen Of The Desert.

Also, don't forget to join us at the Town Square for the Main Drag In Drag street parade where the entire community of Broken Hill joins in on the celebrations.

Plenty to see and do, you'll be living your own desert adventure with all of the incredible sights, sounds and tastes in and around Broken Hill. Hold your boa and sparkle up, there's nothing else like it.
