NRL: Roosters Double Header

Valid pre-purchased tickets to Sydney Roosters 2024 season home games at Allianz Stadium include travel to and from Moore Park on the following transport services, just show your event ticket to transport staff when boarding: 

• Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked services bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations) 
• Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan buses 
• Sydney Metro services 
• Sydney and Newcastle Light Rail services 
• Sydney and Newcastle Ferries 

Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card or contactless payment method, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your match ticket is valid on the modes of public transport listed above until 4am the following day.

Note: an additional train station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by your event ticket travel entitlements.

Transport Park&Ride Car Parks

Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip. Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services.

Tickets to Sydney Roosters 2024 season matches at Allianz Stadium include travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket.

If you use a Transport Connect account to access Park&Ride, the boom gate will automatically open as you leave the car park so you’ll need to request a refund in your account.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city. 

The M1 Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services in both directions between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham. 

Metro services start running from early morning, every 5 to 10 minutes, until late at night. 

Change at Central to connect with light rail services towards Moore Park.

The closest stations to Allianz Stadium are Central and Bondi Junction.

From Central, catch a light rail service to Moore Park leaving from Chalmers Street. Alternatively, consider walking between Central and Moore Park via Devonshire Street and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway. See our Moore Park walking route map (pdf 550KB) to find your way.

From Bondi Junction, catch one of the many regular route buses from the Interchange to Oxford Street to get within walking distance of the stadium.

Trackwork

Planned weeknight trackwork is taking place on Sunday 1 September on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner. 

• T1 Western Line: Buses replace trains between Emu Plains and Parramatta. Trains run to a changed timetable between Richmond and Blacktown, and between Parramatta and the City. 
• T4 Eastern Suburbs Line: Buses replace trains between Cronulla and Sutherland. Trains run between Waterfall, Sutherland and Bondi Junction, to a changed timetable.  
• T5 Cumberland Line: Buses replace trains between Blacktown and Parramatta.Trains run to a changed timetable between Richmond and Blacktown, and between Parramatta or Leppington and the City via Granville. You may need to change services to continue your journey. 
• Blue Mountains Line: Buses replace trains between Bathurst and Parramatta. T1 Western Line trains run between Parramatta and the City, to a changed timetable. 
• South Coast Line: The 5:19am Central to Kiama service will start from Waterfall. Trains run to a changed timetable between Bondi Junction and Hurstville, and between Waterfall and South Coast Line stations.

A number of regular Sydney Buses service stops along Anzac Parade near the precinct, including routes 339, 373, 374 and 396. From Bondi Junction Interchange, catch routes 333, 352 or 440 to Oxford Street or catch route 355 buses to Lang Road to get within short walking distance of the stadium.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line

L1 Dulwich Hill Line light rail services run between Central Station (Grand Concourse) and Dulwich Hill via Darling Harbour and the Inner West. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

From Central, change for light rail service on the L2 or L3 Line to Moore Park leaving from Chalmers Street.  

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines

L2 Randwick Line light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford Line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using Trip Planner.

Catch L2 or L3 light rail services to Moore Park. The Moore Park stop is located along Anzac Parade, just south of Allianz Stadium. Additional services will run before and after the match.

Note, L2 Randwick Line and L3 Kingsford Line light rail services may be impacted between 2pm and 3pm approximately due to road closures around Town Hall for a planned Police Operation protest march. L2 and L3 services may be temporarily held at stops, or L2 and L3 services may be temporarily partially closed between Town Hall and Circular Quay or Central Chalmers Street. Impact to services and timings may change at the direction of NSW Police.

Please check information screens at stops, listen to announcements and follow the direction of staff or Police on site, as necessary.

If you have to drive, carpool with your group and allow extra travel time as traffic will be heavier than usual.

Fans are encouraged to leave the car at home and catch public transport to avoid traffic delays. Travel on transport is included in match tickets.

Changed traffic conditions:

• Driver Avenue will be partially closed outside the stadium from 12.45pm and will reopen once crowds have safely cleared the area.  
• No through-traffic will be available on Driver Avenue, however access to EP3 grass car park and drop-off areas maintained from Lang Road.  
• Due to the Moore Park Road pop up cycleway, there is no left-turn permitted from Lang Road onto Moore Park Road westbound. Motorists can use Cook Road for access onto Moore Park Road instead.

If you’re using rideshare to get to the game, use Errol Flynn Boulevard or Driver Avenue for drop-off locations. 

After the game, there may be restrictions on rideshare pick up locations due to heavy traffic in the area. Select a pick-up location away from the stadium. 

Moore Park Car Parks

Parking will be in high demand and will fill quickly. Carpool with your group and aim to arrive early to secure a parking space. 

• Entertainment Quarter Wilson car park: Open 24 hours. Flat rate event parking fees apply. Entry via Errol Flynn Boulevard from Lang Road. 
• Showground Field (EP3) grass car park: Open from 1.05pm. Cashless, flat rate event parking fees apply. Entry on Driver Avenue via Lang Road. 
• Sydney Boys High School and Sydney Girls High School: Car Park open from around 1.05pm. Cashless, flat rate event parking fees apply. Entry via Cleveland Street. Use the Anzac Parade pedestrian bridge to get to and from the SCG. 

Please note, EP2 grass car park will not open for this match.

Special Event Clearways

Special event clearways will be in place on roads in Moore Park and surrounding areas from 1pm to 7pm on sections of Albion Street and Fitzroy Street and from 6am-7pm on Clevland Street.  

From 6am-7pm  

• Cleveland Street between South Dowling Street and City Road (southern side) 

• Cleveland Street between Abercrombie Street and South Dowling Street (northern side) 

From 1pm to 7pm 

• Albion Street between Bourke Street and Flinders Street (both sides) 

• Fitzroy Street between South Dowling Street and Bourke Street (northern side) 

• Moore Park Road between Flinders and Greens (Northern Side) 

Clearways are strict no-parking zones for all vehicle types and apply even to local residents and TfNSW Mobility Scheme Permit holders. Check signs carefully as vehicles left in clearways will be towed and a fee applies. If your vehicle is towed, you can search your vehicle registration at the Find My Car website to find its new location, or alternatively call 132 701 to speak to an operator.
