Match Ticket Entitlements

Valid pre-purchased tickets to Sydney FC A-League Men 2024/2025 season home games at Allianz Stadium include travel to and from Moore Park on the following transport services – just show your event ticket to transport staff when boarding:

• Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked services bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations)
• Sydney Metro services
• Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan buses
• Sydney and Newcastle Light Rail services
• Sydney and Newcastle Ferries

Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card or contactless payment method, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your match ticket is valid on the modes of public transport listed above until 4am the following day.

Note: an additional train station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by your event ticket travel entitlements.

Transport Park&Ride Car Parks

Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip. Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services.

Tickets to A-League season home games at Allianz Stadium include travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket.

If you use a Transport Connect account to access Park&Ride, the boom gate will automatically open as you leave the car park so you’ll need to request a refund in your account.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city. 

The M1 Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services in both directions between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham. Metro services start running from early morning, every 5 to 10 minutes, until late at night. 

Change at Central to connect with light rail services towards Moore Park from Chalmers Street.

Extra metro services run between Tallawong, the City and Sydenham due to train trackwork on the City Circle and T1 North Shore Line.

The closest stations to Allianz Stadium are Central and Bondi Junction.

From Central change for light rail replacement buses to get to Moore Park leaving from Chalmers Street. Alternatively, consider walking between Central and Moore Park via Devonshire Street and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway. See the Moore Park walking route map (pdf 550KB) to find your way. 

From Bondi Junction, catch one of the many regular route buses from the Interchange to Oxford Street to get within walking distance of the stadium. 

Please note that if you are travelling to the match from the north, planned trackwork is taking place and will affect the way you travel to and from the event. Trains will not run on the City Circle, or between Central and Wynyard. Change at Wynyard to a L2 or L3 Line light rail services to Moore Park or use metro or local bus services to get to Central instead. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner. 

Trackwork

Planned weekend trackwork is taking place on Saturday 18 January on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event.  

• M1 Metro Line: Extra metro services run between Tallawong and Sydenham due to train trackwork on the City Circle and T1 North Shore Line. Trains do not run between Central and Wynyard, or on the City Circle. T1 North Shore Line trains run between Hornsby and Wynyard only. Light rail services run between Central and Circular Quay.
• City Circle: T rains will not run on the City Circle, or between Central and Wynyard. For travel around the City use metro, light rail or local bus services. T4 Eastern Suburbs Line trains continue to run between Central and Bondi Junction.  
• T1 North Shore Line: Trains run to a changed timetable between Berowra and Wynyard only. Trains will not run between Wynyard and Central, or on the City Circle. If travelling to the City use metro services, or change at Wynyard for light rail or local bus services.
• T1 Western Line: Penrith trains run to a changed timetable between Penrith and Central, platforms 1-12 only, and make extra stops at Flemington, Homebush and Burwood. Trackwork on the City Circle may also affect how you travel. Change at Central for metro, light rail or local bus services. Richmond trains run between Richmond and Liverpool only. Change trains at Parramatta to continue your journey towards the City. From 11pm Saturday to 5.30am Sunday, buses replace trains between Lidcombe and Central. Trains run to a changed timetable between Penrith and Olympic Park. 
• T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: B uses replace Inner West trains between Strathfield and Central. Express trains continue to run, stopping at Strathfield, Burwood, Redfern and the City. Trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and Olympic Park via Granville and between Leppington and Lidcombe via Regents Park. Change trains at Lidcombe to continue your journey T1 Western Line Penrith trains make extra stops at Flemington, Homebush and Burwood. From 11pm Saturday to 5.30am Sunday, buses replace trains between Lidcombe and Central. 
• T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line: B uses replace Inner West trains between Strathfield and Central. Express trains continue to run. Trains run between Leppington or Liverpool and Lidcombe via Regents Park. Change trains at Lidcombe to continue your journey. T1 Western Line trains make extra stops at Flemington, Homebush and Burwood. From 11pm Saturday to 5.30am Sunday, buses replace trains between Lidcombe and Central. 
• T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Some trains make extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville.
• T5 Cumberland Line: Some trains run to a changed timetable. 
• T6 Lidcombe & Bankstown Line: Buses replace trains between Bankstown and Lidcombe. Most trains run between Leppington and Lidcombe via Regents Park, to a changed timetable. Trains run between Leppington and Lidcombe via Regents Park. Change at Lidcombe to continue your journey.
• T8 Airport & South Line: Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern. You may need to change trains to continue your journey. Revesby trains run between Revesby and Central only, via the Airport. Most Macarthur trains run between Macarthur and Sydenham only. Change at: Revesby for trains to Airport station or Sydenham for T4 trains towards Bondi Junction, or metro services to the City. Early morning and late-night trains run between Macarthur and Central via the Airport. T4 trains make extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville. Trackwork on the City Circle may also affect how you travel.
• T9 Northern Line: Trains run to a changed timetable between Hornsby and Central, platforms 1-12, due to City Circle trackwork. Change at Central for metro, light rail or local bus services. Saturday and Sunday, daily until 8am, trains run to a reduced frequency, every 30 minutes. From 11.30pm Saturday to 5.30am Sunday, buses replace trains between Strathfield and Central. Trains run between Hornsby and Strathfield, some to a changed timetable.
• Blue Mountains Line: Trains may run to a changed timetable due to trackwork between Strathfield and Central. On Saturday from 9.40pm to 3am and Sunday from 7.40pm to 2am, buses replace trains between Lithgow and Springwood. 
• Central Coast & Newcastle Line: Trains may run to a changed timetable due to trackwork between Strathfield and Central. From 11pm Saturday to 5.30am Sunday, buses replace trains between Strathfield and Central. Trains run between Strathfield and Central Coast & Newcastle Line stations up to 30 minutes later than the normal timetable.
• Southern Highlands Line: From 4.40am to 4.50pm, buses replace trains between Goulburn, Moss Vale and Campbelltown. Trackwork also affects T8 Airport & South Line trains.

A number of regular Sydney Buses service stops along Anzac Parade near the precinct, including routes 339, 373, 374 and 396. From Bondi Junction Interchange, catch routes 333, 352 or 440 to Oxford Street or catch route 355 buses to Lang Road to get within short walking distance of the stadium.   

Keep in mind that buses and light rail services will be busy. Consider walking between Central and Moore Park via Devonshire Street and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway to minimise wait times for transport services. See the Moore Park walking route map (pdf 550KB) to find your way.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line

L1 Dulwich Hill Line light rail services run between Central Station (Grand Concourse) and Dulwich Hill via Darling Harbour and the Inner West. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

From Central, change for light rail replacement buses to Moore Park leaving from Chalmers Street.   

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines

L2 Randwick light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner. 

Catch L2 or L3 light rail services to Moore Park. The Moore Park stop is located along Anzac Parade just south of Allianz Stadium. 

Additional light rail services will run before and after the game. Queues are expected, so be patient and allow plenty of extra time, particularly when leaving the stadium. Consider using alternative transport between Central Station and Moore Park, including walking if able to (approximately 25-minutes) or regular bus services, as light rail services will be very busy. • Train trackwork on the City Circle and T1 North Shore Line may affect how you travel.
• Trains do not run between Central and Wynyard, or on the City Circle.  
• Change at Wynyard for trains to T1 North Shore Line stations. 
• For travel to or from Wynyard or Circular Quay use L2 or L3 light rail services. 
• From 7am to 7pm, extra L2 and L3 light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick or Juniors Kingsford. 

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Alight at Parramatta Square and connect with a train service to Central from Parramatta Station. From Central, catch a L2 or L3 Line service to Moore Park. The Moore Park stop is located along Anzac Parade just south Allianz Stadium.

Passengers are reminded that trams can’t stop quickly or easily – so please stop, listen and look around for trams and use designated pedestrian crossings. Read the news story for more information.

If you have to drive, carpool with your group and allow extra travel time as traffic may be heavier than usual as fans travel to and from the match. Fans are encouraged to leave the car at home and catch public transport to avoid traffic delays. 

Driver Avenue will be partially closed outside the stadium before the match and will reopen once crowds have safely cleared the area. No through-traffic will be available on Driver Avenue, however access to EP3 grass car park and drop-off areas maintained from Lang Road.  

To support the Moore Park Road pop up cycleway, there is no left-turn permitted from Lang Road onto Moore Park Road westbound. Motorists can use Cook Road for access onto Moore Park Road instead.

Moore Park Car Parks

Parking will be in high demand and will fill quickly. Carpool with your group and aim to arrive early to secure a parking space. 

• Entertainment Quarter Wilson car park: Open 24 hours. Flat rate event parking fees apply. Entry via Errol Flynn Boulevard from Lang Road. 
• Showground Field (EP3) grass car park: Open from TBC. Cashless, flat rate event parking fees apply. Entry on Driver Avenue via Lang Road. 
• Sydney Boys High School and Sydney Girls High School: Car Park open from TBC . Cashless, flat rate event parking fees apply. Entry via Cleveland Street. Use the Anzac Parade pedestrian bridge to get to and from the stadium. 

Please note, EP2 grass car park will not open for this match.

Special Event Clearways

Special event clearways will be in place on roads in Moore Park and surrounding areas from 3pm to 8pm on sections of Albion Street, Fitzroy Street and Moore Park Road, and from 6am to 8pm on Cleveland Street.  

From 6am to 8pm 

• Cleveland Street between South Dowling Street and City Road (southern side) 
• Cleveland Street between Abercrombie Street and South Dowling Street (northern side) 

From 3pm to 8pm 

• Albion Street between Bourke Street and Flinders Street (both sides) 
• Fitzroy Street between South Dowling Street and Bourke Street (northern side) 
• Moore Park Road between Cook Road and Poate Road (southern side)   

Clearways are strict no-parking zones for all vehicle types, and apply even to local residents and TfNSW Mobility Scheme Permit holders. Check signs carefully as vehicles left in clearways will be towed and a fee applies. If your vehicle is towed, you can search your vehicle registration at the Find My Car website to find its new location, or alternatively call 132 701 to speak to an operator.
