With 50,000 footy fans expected ticketholders are urged to leave the car at home and catch public transport to avoid getting caught in traffic delays.
The precinct will be busy as footy fans leave the match at the same time Katy Perry fans arrive for a concert at neighbouring Qudos Bank Arena.
Transport
- NRL match tickets include travel on public transport, simply show your ticket to transport staff when boarding services.
- Extra trains will run from Central, Blacktown and Liverpool from mid-afternoon. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner or with the free Opal Travel app.
- Southwest Link buses run regularly between Sydenham and Bankstown. Catch a bus to Bankstown or Sydenham to connect with replacement buses or trains to Lidcombe then Olympic Park. Please note that buses continue to replace T6 Line trains between Bankstown and Lidcombe.
Drive
- If you need to drive, it is essential that you pre-book parking online to guarantee a car space as spaces will be in high demand.
- If you have pre-booked parking, follow the directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry.
- After the show, traffic will be very heavy as everyone leaves at the same time. Expect to allow up to an hour of additional travel time exiting car parks.
- You can also consider parking at a nearby train station commuter car park and continuing your trip by train to Olympic Park, at no extra cost as travel is included in match tickets.
- If you're getting dropped off or catching rideshare, taxi ranks are located on Herb Elliott Avenue. Allow plenty of extra travel time on the roads.
- Allow plenty of extra travel time on roads and plan your trip before leaving home. Traffic approaching the precinct will be heavy as NRL fans leave the precinct at the same time concertgoers arrive. You can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.
Match Ticket Entitlements
Valid pre-purchased tickets to 2025 Canterbury Bulldogs season home games at Accor Stadium includes travel to and from Sydney Olympic Park on the following transport services. Just show your event ticket to Transport staff when boarding services:
- Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked services bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations)
- Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan buses
- Sydney Metro services
- Sydney, Parramatta and Newcastle Light Rail services
- Sydney and Newcastle Ferries
Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your event ticket is valid on trains until 4am the following day.
Note: an additional train station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by your event ticket travel entitlements.
Transport Park&Ride Car Parks
Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours of free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip. Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services.
Tickets to 2025 Canterbury Bulldogs season home games at Accor Stadium include travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city.
The M1 Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services in both directions between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham. Metro services start running from early morning, every 5 to 10 minutes, until late at night.
Change at Epping or Central to connect with train services towards Olympic Park.

The closest station to Accor Stadium is Olympic Park.
Trains run regularly to Lidcombe where you can head to Platform Zero for a direct train to Olympic Park, running every 10 minutes until late.
To help you get to the match, the following additional trains will run:
- Leaving Central at 2.27pm and 2.52pm – stopping at Redfern, Strathfield then Olympic Park.
- Leaving Blacktown every 20-minutes from 2pm until 6pm, and then every 10 minutes from 6pm until 8pm – stopping at Seven Hills, Westmead, Parramatta, Granville, Lidcombe then Olympic Park.
- Leaving Liverpool every 20-minutes from 2pm until 8pm – stopping at all stations to Granville then Auburn, Lidcombe and Olympic Park.
- The Lidcombe to Olympic Park sprint will run frequently until 12.10am.
- Leaving Olympic Park at 12:11 am and 12.21am – stopping at Strathfield, Redfern then Central.

Trackwork
Planned trackwork is taking place on Monday 9 June on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.
- T4 Eastern Suburbs Line: Buses replace trains between Cronulla and Sutherland. Trains run between Waterfall, Sutherland and Bondi Junction, some to a changed timetable.

Regular route buses
The following Sydney bus services run to Olympic Park:
- Route 525 runs between Parramatta and Sydney Olympic Park via Newington.
- Route 526 runs between Strathfield and Rhodes Shopping Centre via Sydney Olympic Park precinct and wharf.
- Route 533 runs between Sydney Olympic Park and Chatswood via Rhodes & North Ryde.
Southwest Link buses
Southwest Link buses run regularly between Sydenham and Bankstown. Catch a bus to Bankstown or Sydenham to connect with replacement buses or trains to Lidcombe then Olympic Park. Please note that buses continue to replace T6 Line trains between Bankstown and Lidcombe.
The closest wharf to Accor Stadium is Sydney Olympic Park Wharf. There is a connecting 526 bus to the venue or alternatively it is approximately a 40-minute walk (3.6km) from the wharf.
F3 Parramatta River services run regularly to Olympic Park, but services are very popular and may reach capacity. Keep this in mind if you’re planning on catching an F3 Parramatta River service. Plan your trip and allow plenty of extra travel time or consider the alternative public transport options available.

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines
L2 Randwick Line light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford Line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Vivid Sydney service changes – Monday 9 June (public holiday)
- From 5pm, light rail services will not run between Town Hall and Circular Quay for pedestrian safety.
L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line
L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.
Alight at Parramatta Square and connect with a train service to Olympic Park from Parramatta Station.

Traffic will be heavier than usual on roads approaching the precinct as attendees travel to the match. Delays are also expected in the precinct and car parks following the match as Katy Perry fans make their way into the precinct for a concert at Qudos Bank Arena.
If you’re driving, travel with your group, allow extra travel time and pre-book your parking ahead of time to secure a space – available until 11:59pm the night before the event unless sold out prior.
To get to your carpark and avoid the heavy traffic congestion expected at the Homebush Bay Drive roundabout, use Silverwater Road, Holker Street and Hill Road.
Road Closures

Sydney Olympic Car Parks
Visit Sydney Olympic Park – Parking to secure your parking space ahead of the game, available until 11:59pm the night before the event unless sold out prior. A flat rate $35 parking fee will apply.
Alternatively, consider parking at a nearby train station commuter car park and continuing the trip to Olympic Park by train. Match tickets include travel on public transport.
If you have pre-booked a space, follow the directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry. Carpool with your group and allow plenty of additional travel time. Use Silverwater Road, Holker Street and Hill Road to get to your car park and avoid the heavy traffic congestion expected at the Homebush Bay Drive roundabout.
Traffic delays are expected after the game as fans leave the precinct.
Train Station Commuter Parking
A number of key train stations have large commuter car parks, so consider parking at a station near you then continuing your journey by train to Olympic Park.
- T1 Western Line: Seveen Hills, Blacktown, Rooty Hill, St Marys, Emu Plains and Penrith.
- T1 North Shore & T9 Northern Line: Gordon, Thornleigh and Concord West.
- T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Sutherland and Kogarah.
- T8 Airport & South Line: Padstow, Revesby, Fairfield, Warwick Farm, Glenfield, Holsworthy, Macarthur, Campbelltown and Leumeah.
