Match tickets include travel on public transport, simply show your match ticket to transport staff when boarding services.

Trains and buses run regularly to Parramatta Station, from there you can walk to the stadium in around 15 minutes. Other regular route buses also make stops outside the stadium on O’Connell Street.

Due to planned trackwork buses will replace all L4 light rail services between Westmead and Carlingford via Parramatta. Additional special event buses will run between Parramatta and Carlingford to help fans get to and from the game.
- From 2.30pm to 3.50pm event shuttle buses will run every 10-minutes stopping at all light rail stops between Carlingford and Parramatta Square, then an additional stop on Market Street at Prince Alfred Square (opposite Riverside Theatre). From there it’s a short walk to CommBank Stadium.

After the game from 5.30pm to 7.20pm, event shuttle buses back towards Parramatta Station and Carlingford will run every 5 minutes from Market St (opposite Riverside Theatre) near Prince Alfred Square. For replacement buses towards Westmead continue along via Victoria Rd to the bus stop after Wilde Ave.

Traffic may be heavier than usual on roads approaching the precinct, allow extra travel time and carpool with your group if you need to drive. You can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.

Roads around the stadium will close after the game from 5.50pm until 6.20pm to allow crowds to safely leave the precinct. Bus stops outside the stadium will also be closed and will use different stops nearby. Check signs and follow directions of staff. See the closure map (pdf 270KB) for details.

Traffic will also be heavy following the match as everyone leaves car parks at the same time. Be patient and follow the directions of traffic controllers and Police. If you’re travelling home by taxi or rideshare, choose a pick-up location away from the stadium to avoid traffic delays.
Match Ticket Entitlements
Valid pre-purchased tickets to 2025 NRL season home games at CommBank Stadium include travel to and from CommBank Stadium on the following transport services, just show your event ticket to transport staff when boarding:
- Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked services bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations)
- Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan buses
- Sydney Metro services
- Sydney, Parramatta and Newcastle Light Rail services
- Sydney and Newcastle Ferries
Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card or contactless payment method, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your event ticket is valid on the modes of public transport listed above until 4am the following day.
Note: an additional train station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by your event ticket travel entitlements.
Transport Park&Ride Car Parks
Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours of free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip. Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services.
Tickets to 2025 NRL season home games at CommBank Stadium include travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city.
The M1 Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham from early morning until late.

From Parramatta station continue on foot to the stadium, or change for light rail replacement buses or regular buses to get within closer walking distance. Please note that buses are replacing L4 Line light rail services due to planned weekend maintenance.

Trackwork
Planned trackwork is taking place on Sunday 13 July on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.
- T1 North Shore Line: Trains may run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern due to trackwork between Strathfield and Central. From 9am, trains run between Hornsby and the City only. T9 trains run between Berowra and the City via Strathfield.
- T1 Western Line: Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern. Penrith trains make extra stops between Lidcombe and Ashfield. Richmond trains run between Richmond and Liverpool. Change trains at Parramatta to continue your journey towards the City.
- T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: Inner West trains will not run. T1 or T9 trains make extra stops at stations between Lidcombe and Central, to a changed timetable and frequency. Trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and Olympic Park via Granville, or between Leppington and Lidcombe via Regents Park. T1 trains run between Lidcombe and the City, stopping at all stations between Lidcombe and Ashfield. T9 trains stop at all stations between Ashfield and Macdonaldtown. You will need to change trains if travelling to Museum, St James or Circular Quay.
- T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line: Inner West trains will not run. T1 or T9 trains make extra stops at stations between Lidcombe and Central, to a changed timetable and frequency. Trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and Lidcombe only. Change trains at Lidcombe to continue your journey. T1 trains run between Lidcombe and the City, stopping at all stations between Lidcombe and Ashfield. T9 trains stop at all stations between Ashfield and Macdonaldtown. You will need to change trains if travelling to Museum, St James or Circular Quay.
- T5 Cumberland Line: Some trains run to a changed timetable. Extra trains run between Liverpool and Richmond.
- T6 Lidcombe & Bankstown Line: Trains run to a reduced frequency, every 30 minutes.
- T8 Airport & South Line: Trains between Sydenham and the City Circle run to a changed timetable.
- T9 Northern Line: Trains run to a changed timetable and stop at all stations between Ashfield and Macdonaldtown. From 9am, trains run between Berowra or Hornsby and the City.
- Blue Mountains Line: Trains may run to a changed timetable due to trackwork between Strathfield and Central.
- Central Coast & Newcastle Line: Trains run between Central Coast & Newcastle Line stations and Hornsby only. Change trains at Hornsby to continue your journey. T1 and T9 trains run between Hornsby and the City, to a changed timetable. Some early morning and late-night trains run between Central Coast & Newcastle Line stations and Central, platforms 1-12 to a changed timetable.
- South Coast Line: Buses replace trains between Thirroul and Sutherland. Express buses also run between Wollongong, North Wollongong and Sutherland. If travelling to T4 stations or the City, catch an express bus to Sutherland then change for a T4 train to continue your journey. Trains run to a changed timetable between South Coast Line stations and Thirroul. T4 trains run between Waterfall, Sutherland and Bondi Junction.

Regular route buses
A number of buses run to and from Parramatta Interchange, which is within a 15 minute walking distance of CommBank Stadium. Some buses also stop along O'Connell St outside the stadium.
Alternatively connect with L4 Light rail services from Parramatta Square at the station and get off at Prince Alfred Square to get within short walking distance of the stadium.

Special event replacement bus services
Due to planned trackwork buses will replace all L4 light rail services between Westmead and Carlingford via Parramatta from 5am Saturday 12 July until 1am Monday 14 July. Additional special event buses will run between Parramatta and Carlingford to help fans get to and from the game.

Bus diversions
Roads around the stadium will close from 5.50pm until 6.20pm to allow crowds to leave the precinct safely, including sections of O’Connell Street, Ross Street and Victoria Road.

- Parramatta Leagues Club, O'Connell Street will be closed – alternative stop O’Connell Street opp Harold Street (for services towards the Hills and North West)
- Our Lady of Mercy College, O'Connell Street will be closed – alternative stop O’Connell Street at Fennell Street (for services towards Parramatta Station)
- Victoria Road after Villiers Street will be closed – alternative stop All Saints Anglican Church, Victoria Road (for services towards Parramatta Station)
- Victoria Road before Marist Place will be closed – alternative stop O’Connell Street opp Harold Street (for services towards the Hills, Epping and Macquarie Park)
Note: Victoria Road opp All Saints Anglican Church is open for services towards Central/Railway Square via Ryde.

The closest wharf to CommBank Stadium is Parramatta Wharf.
From the wharf, connect with light rail replacement buses to continue your trip towards Prince Alfred Square to get within walking distance of CommBank Stadium. Note Buses replace L4 Light rail services on the weekend due to planned maintenance.
F3 Parramatta River services run regularly to Parramatta but services are popular and may reach capacity. Plan your trip and allow plenty of extra travel time or consider the alternative public transport options available.
Please note, F3 Parramatta River ferries between Parramatta and Rydalmere may be affected by low tide and replaced by buses, check for updates here.

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line
L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD.
Due to planned trackwork, L4 light rail services will not run from 5am Saturday 12 July until 1am Monday 14 July. Buses replace light rail services between Westmead and Carlingford. On Sunday, additional special event shuttle buses will operate between Parramatta and Carlingford to help fans get to and from CommBank Stadium.

Change at Central to connect with T1 Western Line trains towards Parramatta to get within walking distance of the stadium.
L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines
L2 Randwick Line light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford Line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Change at Central to connect with T1 Western Line trains towards Parramatta to get within walking distance of the stadium.

If you’re driving to the game, plan to arrive early as car parks in the area are expected to be in high demand. Traffic may be heavier than usual on roads approaching the stadium during as fans travel to and from the match. Allow extra travel time on roads including Parramatta Road, Church Street, Victoria Road, James Ruse Drive and Pennant Hills Road.
Motorists should also exercise caution as pedestrian activity will be high on roads between Parramatta Interchange and the stadium.
Road closures
Roads around the stadium will close after the game from 5.50pm until 6.20pm to allow crowds to safely leave the venue. Roads will re-open once crowds have cleared the area.
- O’Connell Street from Grose Street to George Street
- Ross Street from O’Connell Street to Trott Street
- Victoria Road from O’Connell Street to Villiers Street
While closures are in place motorists are encouraged to avoid driving through Parramatta CBD and detour around the closures via Grose Street, Brickfield Street, Victoria Road and Wilde Avenue in both directions. See our road closure and transport map (pdf 270KB)for more details.
Roads on approach to the stadium may be temporarily closed as crowds make their way to the game.

Parramatta Car Parks
Fans driving to the game should allow plenty of extra travel time as parking is expected to be in high demand.
The following car parks are within walking distance of the stadium. There's no public parking available on-site at CommBank Stadium on game days:
- Eat Street Car Park, entry via George Street
- Justice Precinct Car Park, entry via Hunter Street
- Parramatta Station Car Park, entry via Wentworth Street

Special Event Clearways
Special event clearways and extended bus zones will be in effect to support operation of Parramatta Light Rail replacement buses at the following location on Sunday 13 July:

From 1pm to 7pm on Market St between Marist Place and Church St (northern side)
Clearways are strict no-parking zones for all vehicle types and apply even to local residents and TfNSW Mobility Scheme Permit holders. Check signs carefully as vehicles left in clearways will be towed and a fee applies. If your vehicle is towed, you can search your vehicle registration at the Find My Car website to find its new location, or alternatively call 132 701 to speak to an operator.

Attendees with mobility impairments or accessibility requirements can catch one of the regular route bus services that leave from bus stand A4 at Parramatta Interchange and make stops on O’Connell Street outside the stadium, including routes 600, 601, 603, 604, 606 and 706.
L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services are also accessible.
