Fans are encouraged to plan their trip and consider all the available travel options ahead of time.

Buses run frequently along Pittwater Road making stops within walking distance of 4 Pines Park.

Remember, you'll need to use an Opal card or contactless payment card/device when travelling on transport to and from the event. Register your details online at Opal or via the Opal Travel app ahead of time.

If you're driving to the game, travel with your group and allow extra time for parking. Traffic will be heavier than usual as fans travel to and from the match. You can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.

Opal

You can use an Opal card for all modes of public transport in Sydney and surrounding regions, including metro, trains, buses, ferries and light rail. Receive Opal benefits including daily and weekly fare caps. 

Remember to top up your Opal card before you travel to avoid waiting in line at top-up machines. You can top up your card online or at an Opal retailer.

More ways to pay

If you have a contactless-enabled American Express, Mastercard or Visa debit or credit card, or a linked device, you can use it to pay for your travel by tapping on and tapping off at Opal card readers. Available on all public transport services including metro, trains, buses ferries and light rail, contactless payments are another way to pay on the Opal network. Adult Opal fare pricing applies and you will receive Opal benefits, including daily and weekly fare caps.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city. 

The M1 Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham from early morning until late.

Change at Chatswood or Victoria Cross to connect with bus services towards Brookvale. 

Extra metro services run between Tallawong and Sydenham due to train trackwork on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line.

The best stations for connections to Brookvale Oval are Chatswood, North Sydney and Wynyard where you can change for a bus service running towards Warringah Mall or Brookvale.  

Trackwork

Planned weeknight trackwork is taking place on Sunday 6 July on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.

  • M1 Metro Line: Extra metro services run between Tallawong and Sydenham due to train trackwork on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line. Buses replace T4 trains between Sydenham, Central and Bondi Junction but do not leave from Martin Place. Change at Gadigal for express buses from Town Hall to Bondi Junction; change at Central for buses to Kings Cross and Edgecliff; or change at Sydenham for trains towards T4 Illawarra or South Coast Line stations. 
  • T1 Western Line: From 4am to 8.45am, buses replace trains between Richmond and Blacktown. From 8.45am to 11am, buses replace trains between Richmond and Schofields. Trains run between Blacktown or Schofields and the City, some to a changed timetable. 
  • T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Buses replace trains between Sydenham, Central and Bondi Junction. Trackwork buses do not leave from Martin Place Station. Trains run to a changed timetable between Waterfall or Cronulla and Sydenham only. Change at Sydenham for metro services to Central, Martin Place or Gadigal (Town Hall), or buses to St Peters, Erskineville or Redfern; at Central for buses to Kings Cross and Edgecliff, or metro services to Martin Place; or Town Hall for express buses to Bondi Junction. Trains will not stop at Wolli Creek but make an extra stop at Arncliffe. Buses run between Sydenham, Wolli Creek and Arncliffe. Change at Arncliffe or Sydenham for a bus to Wolli Creek, or change at Central for a T8 Airport train if you have luggage or accessibility needs. 
  • T5 Cumberland Line: From 4am to 8.45am, buses replace trains between Richmond and Blacktown. From 8.45am to 11am, buses replace trains between Richmond and Schofields. Trains run between Blacktown or Schofields and Leppington, some to a changed timetable. 
  • T8 Airport & South Line: Buses replace trains between Sydenham and Central. T8 trains run to the normal timetable via the Airport. Trackwork at Wolli Creek may affect how you travel to T4 or South Coast Line stations. T4 trains will not stop at Wolli Creek. Buses run between Sydenham, Wolli Creek and Arncliffe. Change at Central if you have luggage or accessibility needs. 
  • South Coast Line: Trains run to a changed timetable between South Coast Line stations and Hurstville only. Change trains at Hurstville to continue your journey. Trackwork also affects T4 trains. Buses replace trains between Sydenham, Central and Bondi Junction. Extra metro services run between Sydenham, the City and Tallawong.

Plenty of regular route buses run frequently and stop at or near the stadium along Pittwater Road.

B-Line services stop at Warringah Mall, which is a short 850m walk along Pittwater Road to Brookvale Oval. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.

Additional route 199 buses will also run towards Manly and Mona Vale after the game to help you get home.

Sydney Ferries services are very popular and may reach capacity. Keep this in mind if you’re planning on catching an F1 Manly service.   

At Manly Wharf, change to a bus to Warringah Mall to get within walking distance of the stadium.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line

L1 Dulwich Hill Line light rail services run between Central Station (Grand Concourse) and Dulwich Hill via Darling Harbour and the Inner West. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Change at Central for trains or light rail services to Wynyard to connect with buses to the Northern Beaches.

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines

L2 Randwick Line light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford Line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Catch a service to Wynyard to connect with buses to the Northern Beaches leaving from Carrington Street. 

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line 

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner

Alight at Parramatta Square and connect with a train service to Wynyard from Parramatta Station. At Wynyard, connect with buses to the Northern Beaches leaving from Carrington Street. 

Passengers are reminded that trams can’t stop quickly or easily – so please stop, listen and look around for trams and use designated pedestrian crossings.

Traffic may be heavier than usual as fans travel to and from the match. Allow extra travel time along Pittwater Road, Old Pittwater Road, Warringah Road and Beacon Hill Road while fans are travelling to and from the stadium.  

If you are planning on driving to the game, carpool with your group and allow additional travel time. 

NOTE: No parking on the southern side of Federal Pde between Pine Ave and Alfred Rd permitted from 8pm the night before until the crowd has safely cleared the stadium after full time on game day.

Limited parking is available in nearby schools and local streets. Plan to arrive early as traffic will be heavier than usual and parking will be in high demand. Visit the Northern Beaches Council website for nearby parking locations.
