The closest station to the stadium is Broadmeadow on the Central Coast & Newcastle Line. The stadium is a short walk from the station.
Please note that due to planned trackwork, Central Coast & Newcastle Line trains run between Central Coast & Newcastle Line stations and Strathfield only. If you're travelling from the city, catch metro to Epping to connect with a train to Broadmeadow. Plan ahead and allow extra travel time.
Remember, you'll need to use an Opal card or contactless payment card/device when travelling on public transport to and from the event. Register your details online at Opal or via the Opal Travel app ahead of time.
If you’re driving, travel with your group and pre-book stadium parking via Ticketmaster or use nearby local parking.

Opal
You can use an Opal card for all modes of public transport in Sydney and surrounding regions, including metro, trains, buses, ferries and light rail.
Remember to top up your Opal card before you travel to avoid waiting in line at top-up machines. You can top up your card online or at an Opal retailer.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city.
The M1 Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham from early morning until late.

Services run between Tallawong and Martin Place, and between Martin Place and Central only. Change at Martin Place for metro services towards Tallawong or Central, or for T4 trains to Sydenham. The closest station to McDonald Jones Stadium is Broadmeadow on the Central Coast & Newcastle Line. From the station, the stadium is approximately a 15-20 minute walk away (1.5km).

Trackwork
Planned weekend trackwork is taking place on Sunday 14 September on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.
- M1 Metro Line: From 9.50pm, metro services do not run between Central and Sydenham. Services run between Tallawong and Martin Place, and between Martin Place and Central only. Change at Martin Place for metro services towards Tallawong or Central, or T4 trains to Sydenham. For travel to and from Waterloo use local buses or trains from Redfern.
- T1 North Shore Line: From 4am to 7.40am, trains run between Berowra and Wynyard only, some to a changed timetable. Use metro services between Chatswood, Crows Nest or Victoria Cross and the City, or change at Wynyard for a City Circle train or the light rail. Buses replace trains between Central and Strathfield.
- T1 Western Line: Richmond trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Richmond and Olympic Park. Change trains at Parramatta to continue your journey towards the City. From 4am to 7.30am, buses replace trains between Strathfield and Central. Trains run between Penrith and Ashfield only, to a changed timetable and stopping pattern. Change at Strathfield for express and all-stations buses towards Central or remain on the train if you are travelling to Burwood, Croydon or Ashfield.
- T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: Buses replace trains between Leppington and Liverpool. Inner West trains will not run. Trains run to a changed timetable between Liverpool and the City via Granville. From 4am to 7.30am, buses replace Inner West trains between Ashfield and Central. Trains run to a changed timetable between Liverpool and Olympic Park via Granville and between Liverpool and Lidcombe via Regents Park. Change at Lidcombe for trains towards the City. T1 trains run between Penrith and Ashfield only. Change at Strathfield for express and all-stations buses towards Central or remain on the train if you are travelling to Burwood, Croydon or Ashfield.
- T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line: From 4am to 7.30am, buses replace Inner West trains between Ashfield and Central. Trains run to a changed timetable between Liverpool and Lidcombe. Change at Lidcombe for trains towards the City. T1 trains run between Penrith and Ashfield only. Change at Strathfield for express and all-stations buses towards Central or remain on the train if you are travelling to Burwood, Croydon or Ashfield.
- T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: All Cronulla and some Waterfall trains make extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville.
- T5 Cumberland Line: Buses replace trains between Leppington and Liverpool. Trains run between Liverpool and Schofields, some to a changed timetable.
- T8 Airport & South Line: Buses replace trains between Macarthur and East Hills. Trains run to a changed timetable between East Hills and the City via the Airport. T8 trains do not run between Sydenham and the City. T4 trains run between Sydenham and Bondi Junction, and make extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville.
- T9 Northern Line: From 4am to 7.30am, buses replace trains between Strathfield and Central. Change at Epping for metro services to the City or change at Strathfield for express and all-stations buses towards Central. Trains run between Hornsby and Strathfield, some to a changed timetable.
- Blue Mountains Line: Most trains run between Blue Mountains Line stations and Blacktown only. Change trains at Blacktown to continue your journey. Trains from Blacktown to Blue Mountains Line stations run up to 30 minutes later than the normal timetable. Bathurst trains run to the normal timetable between Bathurst and Strathfield. Some late night or early morning trains start from Strathfield or run around the City Circle. From 4am to 7.30am, buses replace trains between Strathfield and Central. T1 trains run between Penrith and Ashfield only, to a changed timetable and stopping pattern. Change at Strathfield for express and all-stations buses towards Central or remain on the train if you are travelling to Burwood, Croydon or Ashfield.
- Central Coast & Newcastle Line: Trains run between Central Coast & Newcastle Line stations and Strathfield only. Change at Epping for metro services to the City or change trains at Strathfield to continue your journey. From 1.20am to 7.30am, buses replace trains between Strathfield and Central. Change at Epping for metro services to the City or change at Strathfield for express and all-stations buses towards Central.
- South Coast Line: From 2.30am to 9.50am, buses replace trains between Bomaderry and Wollongong. Trains run between Port Kembla, Wollongong and Bondi Junction, some to a changed timetable. The 2:39am Kiama to Bondi Junction service will run up to 14 minutes earlier than the normal timetable from Kiama to Coniston, then run to the normal timetable from Wollongong to Bondi Junction
- Southern Highlands Line: Buses replace trains between Goulburn, Moss Vale and East Hills. You may need to change buses to continue your journey. T8 trains run to a changed timetable between East Hills and the City.

Ferries run between Stockton and Queens Wharf approximately every 20 minutes.
At Queens Wharf, change for a light rail service to Newcastle Interchange then connect with trains to Broadmeadow. Alternatively, from King Street near Perkins Street, you can catch a route 13 bus to Lambton Road to get within short walking distance of the stadium.

Newcastle Light Rail services run from 5am to 1am daily between Newcastle Interchange in Wickham and Pacific Park in Newcastle East. With six convenient stops, it’s easy to get around Newcastle’s city centre and connect with train, bus and ferry services.
Catch a light rail service to Newcastle Interchange and change for a train to Broadmeadow where the stadium is within short walking distance.

Traffic may be heavier than usual on roads approaching the stadium as fans travel to and from the match. Carpool with your group and allow extra travel time on roads including Turton Road and Griffiths Road.
For passenger drop-off, use the allocated 10-minute loading zone in the McDonald Jones Stadium car park. Entry is via the driveway off Turton Road.

Drop-Off Zone: motorists may drop off patrons in the stadium's car park in the allocated 10-minute loading zone, accessible via the north driveway (near the Knights supporter store) off Turton Road.
