Opal
You can use an Opal card for all modes of public transport in Sydney and surrounding regions, including metro, trains, buses, ferries and light rail.
Remember to top up your Opal card before you travel to avoid waiting in line at top-up machines. You can top up your card online or at an Opal retailer.

The closest station to polytec Stadium is Gosford on the Central Coast & Newcastle Line. From the station, the stadium is a short walk away via Showground Road and Dane Drive.
Trackwork
Planned trackwork is taking place on Thursday 11 September on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.
- T1 Western Line: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, Penrith trains run to a changed timetable and make extra stops at some stations between Parramatta and Ashfield.
- T2 Leppington and Inner West Line: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, Inner West trains do not run. T1 or T9 trains make extra stops between Parramatta and Central, to a changed timetable. Trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and Olympic Park via Granville. Change at Lidcombe for trains towards Central. You will need to change trains if travelling to Museum, St James or Circular Quay.
- T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, Inner West trains will not run. T1 or T9 trains make extra stops between Lidcombe and Central, to a changed timetable and frequency. Trains run between Liverpool and Lidcombe only. Change trains at Lidcombe to continue your journey. You will need to change trains if travelling to Museum, St James or Circular Quay.
- T6 Lidcombe & Bankstown Line: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, trains may run to a changed timetable due to trackwork between Strathfield and Central.
- T9 Northern Line: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, trains run to a changed timetable and stop at all stations between Ashfield and Macdonaldtown.
- Blue Mountains Line: Buses replace trains between Lithgow and Mount Victoria. Trains run between Mount Victoria and Central, some to a changed timetable. Bathurst trains run to a changed timetable between Bathurst and Lithgow or Central.
- Central Coast & Newcastle Line: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, trains may run to a changed timetable due to trackwork between Strathfield and Central. The 01:47 Central to Newcastle Interchange service is replace by a bus from Central to Hornsby. This bus leaves Central at 1.23am, 24 minutes earlier than the normal train timetable, to connect with this service at Hornsby
- Hunter Line: Buses replace the following trains between Muswellbrook and Maitland: 8:14am Newcastle Interchange to Muswellbrook and the 10:09am Muswellbrook to Newcastle Interchange. Trains run to the normal timetable between Maitland and Newcastle Interchange.
- South Coast Line: From 9.20am to 2.15pm, buses replace trains between Port Kembla and Wollongong. Buses towards Wollongong may leave stations up to 15 minutes earlier than the normal train timetable

Route buses 19, 21, 22, 23, 64 and 67 run towards Central Coast Stadium and stop near the stadium.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line
L1 Dulwich Hill Line light rail services run between Central Station (Grand Concourse) and Dulwich Hill via Darling Harbour and the Inner West. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.
Change at Central for Central Coast & Newcastle Line trains to Gosford Station.
L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines
L2 Randwick Line light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford Line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily, plan your trip using the Trip Planner.
Change at Central for Central Coast & Newcastle Line trains to Gosford Station.
L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line
L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.
Alight at Parramatta Square and connect with a train service towards Epping or Central to connect with Central Coast & Newcastle Line trains to Gosford.
Passengers are reminded that trams can’t stop quickly or easily – so please stop, listen and look around for trams and use designated pedestrian crossings.

Traffic will be heavier than usual on roads approaching the stadium as fans travel to and from the stadium. Allow extra travel time and use local parking.
Dane Drive will be closed before the match from 4.45pm between the Central Coast Highway and Donnison Street and will reopen once crowds have cleared the area.
