Important Travel Advice

With 70,000 fans expected each night on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 December, ticketholders are urged to leave the car at home and catch public transport to avoid getting caught in traffic delays. The precinct will be particularly busy on Saturday with another 20,000 fans attending a music festival event at nearby Sydney Showground.

Join other Lady Gaga fans by catching a train or Major Event Bus to the concert!

  • Hundreds of additional trains and buses will run to Olympic Park both nights. Travel on all modes of public transport is included in your concert ticket, simply show your Lady Gaga concert ticket to transport staff when boarding services.
  • Express trains will run frequently from Central to Olympic Park, with frequent return services after each show. Trains will also run regularly between Lidcombe and Olympic Park. From Olympic Park station, the stadium is a short 10-minute walk away.
  • Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses will run frequently on all nine routes from mid-afternoon each day. Return buses will run frequently after the show, with last buses leaving the precinct late each night. See the major event bus map (pdf 230KB) for route details.
    • Buses will run from mid-afternoon each day, timetables will be confirmed closer to the date.
  • Plan your trip using the Trip Planner or free Opal Travel app and see the Olympic Park transport map (pdf 551KB) to find your way.

If you have no other option but to drive, you must have pre-booked parking:

  • Parking will sell out in advance, so it is essential that you pre-book parking online to guarantee a car space if you need to drive. An event flat rate $35 parking fee will apply. On Saturday the park will be particularly busy with another 20,000 people attending an event at nearby Sydney Showgrounds.
  • Carpool with your group and allow plenty of extra travel time as significant traffic delays are expected on roads approaching the precinct and entering car parks, particularly during the busy Friday night peak. Plan your trip before leaving home. You can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.
  • If you have pre-booked parking, follow the directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry. After the show, traffic will be very heavy as everyone leaves at the same time. Expect to allow up to an hour of additional travel time exiting car parks.
  • You can also consider parking at a nearby train station commuter car park and continuing your trip on one of the many extra trains running to Olympic Park, at no extra cost.
  • If you're getting dropped off or catching rideshare, taxi ranks are located on Herb Elliott Avenue.

For the smoothest possible entry to the Stadium, save your tickets from the Ticketmaster App into your Apple or Google wallet in advance. Be ready to scan your ticket upon arrival.

Arrive early to enjoy the pre-event atmosphere in the precinct. Local cafes and restaurants will be open, and Fig Grove opposite the stadium will be a hub of food-trucks and entertainment. Some venues will operate extended trading hours if you want to avoid queues of crowds leaving the precinct after the show.
