With thousands of fans expected, ticketholders are urged to leave the car at home and catch public transport to avoid getting caught in traffic delays.  

Join other soccer fans by catching a train to the game! 

  • Travel on all modes of public transport is included in your match ticket, simply show your ticket to transport staff when boarding services.
  • Express trains will run frequently from Central to Olympic Park, with frequent return services after the game. Trains will also run regularly between Lidcombe and Olympic Park. From Olympic Park station, the stadium is a short 10-minute walk away.
  • NOTE Major Event Buses will not be operating for this game.
  • Plan your trip using the Trip Planner or free Opal Travel app.

If you're driving: 

  • Parking may sell out in advance, so it is essential that you pre-book parking online to guarantee a car space if you need to drive. An event flat rate $35 parking fee will apply. 
    • Please note that the P6 car park will be closed due to Easter Show infrastructure.
    • If you have pre-booked a space, follow the directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry. Carpool with your group and allow plenty of additional travel time. Plan your trip before leaving home. You can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.
    • If you haven’t pre-booked, follow the variable message signs within Sydney Olympic Park to the best available casual parking.
    • If you're getting dropped off or catching rideshare, taxi ranks are located on Herb Elliott Avenue.

Arrive early to enjoy the pre-game atmosphere in the precinct. Local cafes and restaurants will be open, and Fig Grove opposite the stadium will be a hub of food-trucks and entertainment. Some venues will operate extended trading hours if you want to avoid queues of crowds leaving the precinct after the game. 

Match Ticket Entitlements

Valid pre-purchased tickets to FIFA Series Sydney 2026 at Accor Stadium includes travel to and from Sydney Olympic Park on the following transport services. Just show your event ticket to Transport staff when boarding services: 

  • Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked services bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations)
  • Sydney Metro services
  • Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan buses
  • Sydney, Parramatta and Newcastle Light Rail services
  • Sydney and Newcastle Ferries

Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your event ticket is valid on trains until 4am the following day. 

Note: an additional train station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by your event ticket travel entitlements.

Transport Park&Ride Car Parks

Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours of free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip. Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services.

Tickets to FIFA Series Sydney 2026 at Accor Australia include travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket.

If you use a Transport Connect account to access Park&Ride, the boom gate will automatically open as you leave the car park so you’ll need to request a refund in your account.

Sydney Metro  services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city. 

The M1 Metro North West & Bankstown Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham from early morning until late. 

Change at Central to connect with express trains running to Olympic Park.  

Travel on metro is included in your match ticket – simply show your ticket to staff when boarding services. At Metro stations, a dedicated opal gate will remain open for match ticketholders to access the station. 

Commuter Car Parks 

If you have to drive consider parking at one of the commuter car parks at Metro North West stations and connecting with Major Event Buses Route 5A or 5B to Olympic Park. 

Large commuter car parks are located at the following stations: 

  • Tallawong – 1,000 spaces
  • Kellyville – 1,389 parking spaces, including 97 accessible car spaces. A temporary overflow car park has opened at the corner of Decora Drive and Darani Avenue, offering 150 extra spaces until mid-2026.
  • Bella Vista – 800 spaces
  • Hills Showground – 600 spaces

The closest station to Accor Stadium is Olympic Park. From the station, it’s a short 10-minute walk via Olympic Boulevarde to the stadium.

Express trains to Olympic Park and regular services to Lidcombe will run frequently before and after the game to get you there and home again.  

Getting there 

  • From Central: express trains will run every 20 minutes from 6pm, stopping at Redfern, Strathfield then Olympic Park.
  • From the west: Trains from Lidcombe direct to Olympic Park will run every 10 minutes until late.  
    • An additional event train will leave Blacktown at 5.34pm - stopping at Parramatta, Lidcombe then Olympic Park
    • An additional event train will leave Liverpool at 5.45pm - stopping at Cabramatta, Fairfield, Granville, Lidcombe then Olympic Park.

Getting home 

  • From Olympic Park: express trains to Central will run every 15 minutes from 10pm to 12.30am, stopping at Strathfield, Redfern then Central
  • Regular shuttle trains will run to Lidcombe every 10 minutes until late. From Lidcombe you can connect with other western line trains. 

Service changes

Planned service changes are taking place on Friday 27 March on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. There is no planned trackwork taking place. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner

Service Changes 

  • T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: From 3.40pm to 11pm, Inner West trains run between the City and Homebush only, not Parramatta. You may need to change trains to continue your journey.
  • T9 Northern Line: From 4pm to 7.20pm, trains between Hornsby, Epping and Central run to a changed timetable and reduced frequency.

The following Sydney bus services run to Olympic Park: 

  • Route 525 runs between Parramatta and Sydney Olympic Park via Newington.
  • Route 526 runs between Strathfield and Rhodes Shopping Centre via Sydney Olympic Park precinct and wharf. 
  • Route 533 runs between Sydney Olympic Park and Chatswood via Rhodes & North Ryde. 

NOTE Major Event Buses will not be operating for this game.

The closest wharf to Accor Stadium is Sydney Olympic Park Wharf. There is a connecting 526 bus to the venue or alternatively it is approximately a 40-minute walk (3.6km) from the wharf. 

F3 Parramatta River services run regularly to Olympic Park, but services are very popular and may reach capacity. Keep this in mind if you’re planning on catching an F3 Parramatta River service. Plan your trip and allow plenty of extra travel time or consider the alternative public transport options available. 

F3 Parramatta River ferries may be affected by low tide between Parramatta and Rydalmere and replaced by buses. Check for updates here (pdf 77KB).

L1 Dulwich Hill Line 

L1 Dulwich Hill Line light rail services run between Central Station (Grand Concourse) and Dulwich Hill via Darling Harbour and the Inner West. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner

Change at Central for express trains to Olympic Park. 

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines 

L2 Randwick Line light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford Line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Change at Central for express trains to Olympic Park. 

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line 

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner

Alight at Parramatta Square and connect with a train service to Lidcombe then Olympic Park from Parramatta Station.  

Passengers are reminded that trams can’t stop quickly or easily – so please stop, listen and look around for trams and use designated pedestrian crossings.

Road Closures

Road closures and changes to parklands will be in place within the Sydney Olympic Park Precinct before, during and after the Easter Show for event set up and pack down.

Monday 9 March at 1.30am to Tuesday 21 April at 1.30am:  

  • Olympic Boulevard 100m north of Dawn Fraser Avenue adjacent to Cathy Freeman Park amenities, to 200m south of Edwin Flack Avenue outside Qudos Bank Arena. 

Thursday 19 March at 1.30am to Tuesday 21 April at 1.30am:  

  • Australia Avenue from Murray Rose Avenue to Kevin Coombs Avenue.
  • Showground Road from Murray Rose Avenue to Grand Parade.
  • Grand Parade from Olympic Boulevard to Australia Avenue.

If you're getting dropped off/picked up or catching rideshare and taxis: 

  • Taxi ranks are located on Herb Elliott Avenue at Park Street.
  • An accessible pick-up and drop-off area will be located at the corner of Dawn Fraser Avenue and Edwin Flack Ave.
  • Remember that roads will be closed within the precinct. Allow plenty of extra travel time due to the increased traffic expected in the area before and after the match.
  • After the match, demand for taxis and rideshare will be high. Rideshare prices are likely to be surging. Avoid the traffic delays while roads are closed by considering catching a train or bus outside of the precinct to connect with your ride faster.

Sydney Olympic Car Parks

  • The closest car park to the stadium is P1, however most other car parks are within walking distance of the stadium. Note P6 car park will be closed due to infrastructure for the Easter Show

Train Station Commuter Parking 

A number of key train stations have large commuter car parks, so consider parking at a station near you then continuing your journey by train to Olympic Park. 

  • T1 Western Line: Seveen Hills, Blacktown, Rooty Hill, St Marys, Emu Plains and Penrith.
  • T1 North Shore & T9 Northern Line: Gordon, Thornleigh and Concord West.
  • T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Sutherland and Kogarah.
  • T8 Airport & South Line: Padstow, Revesby, Fairfield, Warwick Farm, Glenfield, Holsworthy, Macarthur, Campbelltown and Leumeah.
