Timetable changes from Friday 27 December

From Friday 27 December 2024, minor timetable adjustments are being made to some train services.

Minor adjustments have been made to the departure time of two weekday services.

Weekday

The weekday 7:46pm service from Emu Plains to Central will now depart Emu Plains one minute earlier at 7:45pm.

The weekday 6:33pm service from Central to Penrith will now depart one minute earlier at the following stations:

  • Werrington at 7:27pm instead of 7:28pm
  • Kingswood at 7:31pm instead of 7:32pm
  • Penrith at 7:35pm instead of 7:36pm

Minor adjustments have been made to the departure time of one weekday service.

Weekday

The weekday 5:50am service from Macarthur to Central via Airport will now depart later at the following stations:

  • Macarthur at 5:53am instead of 5:50am
  • Campbelltown at 5:57am instead of 5:53am
  • Leumeah at 5:59am instead of 5:56am
  • Minto at 6:03 instead of 6:00am
  • Ingleburn at 6:07am instead of 6:04am
  • Macquarie Fields at 6:09am instead of 6:06am
  • Glenfield at 6:14am instead of 6:10am
  • Holsworthy at 6:19am instead of 6:15am
  • East Hills at 6:23am instead of 6:19am
  • Panania at 6:25am instead of 6:21am
  • Revesby at 6:28am instead of 6:24am
  • Wolli Creek at 6:39am instead of 6:35am
  • International Airport at 6:42am instead of 6:38am
  • Domestic Airport at 6:44am instead of 6:40am
  • Mascot at 6:47am instead of 6:43am
  • Green Square at 6:51am instead of 6:47am

Minor adjustments have also been made to the departure platforms of four weekday services.

The following weekday services from Macarthur to Central via Airport will now depart Macarthur from Platform 1 instead of Platform 3:

  • Weekday 4:38am
  • Weekday 4:53 am
  • Weekday 5:08am

The weekday 6:18am service from Macarthur to Central will now depart two minutes later at 6:20am instead of 6:18am from Platform 1 instead of Platform 3.

Minor adjustments have been made to the timetabled stops of one weekday service and the departure time of several weekend services.

  • The weekday 6:56am service from Mount Victora to Central now stops at Redfern, arriving at 9:14am.

Weekend

  • The weekend 05:18am service from Mount Victoria to Central will now depart Leura one minute earlier at 05:41am instead of 05:42am.
  • The weekend 12:48pm service from Lithgow to Central will now depart Leura one minute earlier at 1:41pm instead of 1:42pm
  • The weekend 2:48pm service from Lithgow to Central will now depart Leura one minute earlier at 3:41pm instead of 3:42pm
  • The weekend 4:48pm service from Lithgow to Central will now depart Leura one minute earlier at 5:41pm instead of 5:42pm
  • The weekend 7:18pm service from Mount Victoria to Central will now depart Leura one minute earlier at 7:41pm instead of 7:42pm
  • The weekend 9:18pm service from Mount Victoria to Central will now depart Leura one minute earlier at 9:41pm instead of 9:42pm

Minor adjustments have been made to the departure platform of one weekday T8 Airport & South Line service. Southern Highlands Line passengers interchanging at Macarthur for T8 Airport & South Line services to the Sydney CBD will now have a cross-platform interchange.

Weekday

The weekday 4:53am service from Macarthur to Central will now depart from Platform 1 instead of Platform 3.

One weekday evening service from Wyong to Gosford has been removed to improve the reliability of other Central Coast & Newcastle Line services. Minor adjustments have also been made to the departure times of two weekday services at Gosford.

Weekday

The weekday 6:00pm service from Wyong to Gosford will no longer operate. This train will no longer service the following stations:

  • Wyong at 6:00pm
  • Tuggerah at 6:03pm
  • Ourimbah at 6:09pm
  • Lisarow at 6:12pm
  • Niagara Park at 6:15pm
  • Narara at 6:17pm
  • Gosford 6:21pm

Passengers continue to have access to the 5:37pm or 6:08pm service from Wyong to Gosford for travel to these stations.

The weekday 4:28am service from Newcastle to Central will now depart Gosford one minute earlier at 5:38am instead of 5:39am.

The weekday 5:43am service from Gosford to Central will now depart earlier at the following stations: 

  • Gosford at 5:41am instead of 5:43am
  • Point Claire at 5:44am instead of 5:46am
  • Tascott at 5:46am instead of 5:48am
  • Koolewong at 5:49am instead of 5:50am
  • Woy Woy at 5:52am instead of 5:54am
  • Wondabyne at 5:59am instead of 6:00am
