Balmain West Wharf returns to F3 Parramatta River route
Balmain West Wharf has officially returned to the F3 Parramatta River ferry route, with services resuming from Monday 18 August.
The wharf is now operational, with recent upgrades including the installation of Opal ticketing, CCTV, improved safety features, and real-time passenger information displays.
With services now running, new weekday trips operate from:
- Chiswick at 5:50am, 6:50am, 7:50am and 8:50am
- Circular Quay at 3:12pm, 4:12pm, 5:12pm and 6:12pm
All new services stop at Barangaroo, Drummoyne, and Huntleys Point.
These additions follow the earlier introduction of 14 extra weekday services and 26 new weekend services to the F3 route in 2024.
Planning is also underway to bring the F10 ferry service into the Opal network in 2026, allowing passengers to access Opal benefits such as fare discounts when transferring between modes and the $50 weekly fare cap.
