F3 Parramatta Line partial closure

On the weekends of Saturday 4 to Monday 6 October, and Saturday 11 to Sunday 12 October, buses will replace ferry services between Parramatta and Sydney Olympic Park wharves due to electrical relocation work as part of the Parramatta Light Rail Stage 2 Enabling Works project.

These closures are essential to enable the safe relocation of high-voltage electrical wires to prepare for the construction of a new bridge across the Parramatta River, that will connect Wentworth Point and Melrose Park.

F3 Parramatta Line ferry services between Parramatta and Sydney Olympic Park will be suspended during this period. Replacement bus services (Route 1F3) will operate, with bus marshals available to assist passengers.

Ferry services will continue to run from Sydney Olympic Park to Circular Quay as normal.

Customers attending major events such as the NRL Grand Final on Sunday 5 October and Spring Cycle on Sunday 12 October are advised to allow extra travel time and refer to the event pages for additional transport options.

Recreational and commercial river users will not be able to access the closure zone.

Ermington Boat Ramp will be closed from Monday 29 September to Sunday Friday 17 October, while Silverwater Boat Ramp will close during the weekend closures only.
