Trackwork on Blue Mountains Line

From Monday 25 to Sunday 31 May, buses replace some Blue Mountains Line trains due to planned critical upgrades and maintenance works. The safety critical works include overhead wire renewal, rail grinding, rail welding, and track defect removal.

Monday 25 to Friday 29 May

  • Buses replace trains between Lithgow and Mount Victoria.
  • Bathurst trains run to a changed timetable between Bathurst and Lithgow or Central. 
     
  • Friday from 8.50pm, buses replace trains from Lithgow to Blacktown.
  • Friday from 10.40pm, buses replace trains from Blacktown to Lithgow.
  • T1 Western Line trains run between the City and St Marys, to a changed timetable. More info

Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 May

  • Buses replace trains between Bathurst and Blacktown.
  • T1 Western Line trains run to a changed timetable between Richmond, Blacktown and the City. More info
