Important event information
Large crowds are expected to view the convoy along the route as it returns for its 15th year. Over 1,500 trucks and motorbikes are expected to make up the convoy and travel 70kms from Appin Road through to Bulli Tops, Corrimal, Wollongong, and Shellharbour finishing at the Illawarra Regional Airport. The first vehicles will start to arrive from 9:15am.

Available on all public transport in the Opal network, contactless payments are another way to pay on the Opal network. The best way to get to the event is by train. The closest station to Illawarra Regional Airport is Albion Park on the South Coast Line.
Illawarra Regional Airport is opposite the station on the Princes Highway, special arrangements will be in place to assist the movement of pedestrians across the highway. Patrons should follow the direction of event staff on site.
All South Coast Line services stopping at Albion Park between 8am and 4.30pm will be built up to 8 carriages.
Trackwork is taking place from 02:00 Saturday 16 until 02:00 Monday 18 November and may affect how you travel to and from the event:
- T1 North Shore Line: Buses replace trains between Berowra, Hornsby and Wynyard.
- T1 Western Line: Trains run to a changed timetable between Emu Plains, Penrith and Central, then continue to the City Circle.
- T9 Northern Line: Trains run to a changed timetable between Berowra or Hornsby and Central via Strathfield.

Event shuttle buses
Additional bus services will be running from Shellharbour to the airport and return.

- From Shellharbour Stockland (inside Shellharbour Square carpark at the Bus Zone) to Illawarra Regional Airport
Park & Ride shuttle buses
Park your vehicle in the public car park located on the corner of Croom Rd and Tongarra Rd, entry via Croom Rd and exit via Tongarra Rd. Shuttle buses will run from the carpark to the airport.
Regular route buses
Premier Illawarra operates regular weekend services in the Wollongong and Illawarra Region. A number of routes make stops on Princes Highway including routes 37, 51, 57, and 76. See Premier Illawarra bus services for more details.
Heavy traffic is expected on approaches to Albion Park on the Princes Hwy in both directions as large crowds cross the road from the train station to the festival site at the airport.
Traffic will be heavy on approaches to Illawarra Regional Airport during the event. Road closures and changed traffic conditions will be implemented in the area for the convoy and motorists are advised to use designated carparks as the general admission carpark at the airport will be closed to the public.
There will be no general admission parking available at the venue.
If you are planning on driving, utilise the Park n Ride Service and park at the public car park on the corner of Croom Rd and Tongarra Rd.
Albion Park Station is less than 100m from the airport so leave the car at home and catch a train to the event.
