Important travel advice

As stadiums reopen with limited capacities, fans are reminded that public transport also continues to operate at a reduced capacity to maintain physical distancing across the network.

NRL fans travelling by public transport should allow plenty of additional travel time and plan ahead by checking real-time capacity indicators where available as you may need to wait for the next service with available physical distancing capacity.

Remember to practise physical distancing when on-board transport services and to look for the ‘green dots’ to find the safest places to sit or stand. Wearing a face mask while travelling on public transport is also strongly recommended. Additional measures and staff will be in place around transport hubs to safely manage crowds arriving and leaving the game so be patient, practise physical distancing and follow the directions of staff on site.

Buses will run to a regular timetable with services stopping regularly on Pittwater Rd near Lottoland. Due to reduced capacity, queues for public transport services to get you to and from the venue may be lengthy, particularly during evening peak, so please allow extra time.

If you’re driving to the game plan to arrive early as parking in the area is limited and traffic may be heavy during Friday evening peak.

Opal

You can use an Opal card for all modes of public transport in Sydney and surrounding regions, including metro, trains, buses, ferries and light rail. Receive Opal benefits including daily and weekly fare caps.

Remember to top up your Opal card before you travel to avoid waiting in line at top-up machines. You can top up your card online or at an Opal retailer.

More ways to pay

Adult Opal fare pricing applies and you will receive Opal benefits, including daily and weekly fare caps.
