Public transport is the best way to get to Allianz Stadium with frequent light rail and buses servicing the Moore Park area. Travel on transport is included in your ticket to the game.
Trains to the city run regularly where you can connect with frequent light rail services to Moore Park from the city and south east. The Moore Park light rail stop is located a short walk across from Allianz Stadium. Plenty of regular route buses also make stops along Anzac Pde and Oxford St nearby.
If you have to drive, allow plenty of extra travel time, carpool with your group and plan to arrive early as traffic will be heavier than usual and parking in the precinct may fill quickly. Traffic may be heavier than usual in the area as race goers will be leaving an Autumn Carnival race day at nearby Randwick racecourse. You can find real-time traffic conditions livetraffic.com.
Parking is available near Allianz Stadium at the Entertainment Quarter Wilson car park, EP3 southern grass car park on Driver Avenue and Sydney Boys & Girls High car park off Cleveland Street. A flat rate event parking fee will apply.
Match ticket entitlements
Valid pre-purchased tickets to Sydney FC 2022/23 season home games at Allianz Stadium include travel to and from Moore Park on the following transport services – just show your event ticket to transport staff when boarding:
- Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked services bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations)
- Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan buses
- Sydney Metro North West services
- Sydney and Newcastle Light Rail services
- Sydney and Newcastle Ferries
Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card or contactless payment method, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your match ticket is valid on the modes of public transport listed above until 4am the following day.
Note: an additional train station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by your event ticket travel entitlements.
Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Tallawong Station and Chatswood Station.
Metro services start from the early morning running every 10 minutes until late. Change at Epping for trains to the city to connect with light rail services to Moore Park.

The closest stations to Allianz Stadium are Central and Bondi Junction.
From Central catch a light rail service to Moore Park leaving from Chalmers Street. Alternatively, consider walking between Central and Moore Park via Foveaux Street or Devonshire Street and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway. See our Moore Park walking route map (pdf 435KB) to find your way.
From Bondi Junction catch one of the many regular route buses from the Interchange to Oxford Street to get within walking distance of the stadium.
Trackwork
Weekend trackwork is taking place from 2am Saturday 1 April to 2am Monday 3 April on the following lines and may affect how you travel to the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner:
- T1 North Shore Line: From 11:45pm Saturday to 5:30am Sunday, trains run between Berowra or Hornsby and Wynyard only, some to a changed timetable. Change at Wynyard for City Circle trains or the light rail to continue your journey. Buses replace trains between Central and Strathfield.
- T1 Western Line: Buses replace trains between Penrith or Richmond and Granville. Trains run to a changed timetable between Granville and Central. From 11:45pm Saturday to 5:30am Sunday, buses also replace trains between Strathfield and Central.
- T2 Inner West & Leppington Line: From 11:45pm Saturday to 5:30am Sunday, buses replace trains between Ashfield and Central. Trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and Ashfield via Granville. Change at Cabramatta or Lidcombe for trains to the City via Bankstown, or at Strathfield for buses towards Central.
- T5 Cumberland Line: Buses replace trains between Richmond and Granville. T2 Leppington Line trains run between Leppington and the City via Granville.
- T8 Airport & South Line: Buses replace trains between Sydenham and Central via the Airport. Trains run to a changed timetable between Macarthur or Revesby and the City Circle via Sydenham.
- T9 Northern Line: From 11:45pm Saturday to 5:30am Sunday, buses replace trains between Strathfield and Central. Trains run between Hornsby and Strathfield only, some to a changed timetable.
- Blue Mountains Line: Buses replace trains between Penrith and Central. Trains run between Blue Mountains Line stations and Penrith only. Bathurst trains continue to run between Bathurst and Central, to a changed timetable.
- Central Coast & Newcastle Line: Trains run between Central Coast & Newcastle Line stations and Strathfield only. Change at Strathfield to continue your journey. From 9pm Saturday to 5:30 Sunday, buses replace trains between Wyong to Newcastle Interchange. From 11:45pm Saturday to 5:30am Sunday, buses also replace trains between Strathfield and Central.

A number of regular Sydney Buses service stops along Anzac Parade near the precinct, including routes 339 and 374. From Bondi Junction Interchange, catch routes 333, 352 or 440 to Oxford Street or catch route 355 buses to Lang Road within short walking distance of the stadium.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line
Due to planned trackwork and maintenance works, buses will replace all L1 Dulwich Hill light rail services between Central Grand Concourse and Dulwich Hill from 6am Saturday 1 April to 11pm Sunday 2 April.
Catch rail replacement buses to Central or change at Dulwich Hill for trains to the city instead. From there connect with L2 and L3 light rail services to Moore Park leaving from Central Chalmers Street.

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines
L2 Randwick light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily, plan your trip using the Trip Planner.
Catch L2 or L3 light rail services to Moore Park. The Moore Park stop is located along Anzac Parade, just south of the stadium.

Driver Avenue will be partially closed outside the stadium from 3:45pm and will reopen once crowds have safely left the area.
No through-traffic will be available on Driver Avenue, however access to EP3 grass car park and drop off areas maintained from Lang Road. See our Moore Park transport map to find your way. EP2 Kippax car park will be closed for this match.
To support the Moore Park Road pop up cycleway, there is no left-turn permitted from Lang Road onto Moore Park Road westbound. Motorists can use Cook Rd for access onto Moore Park Rd instead.

Moore Park Car Parks
Parking will be available at the following car parks near the stadium, a flat rate event parking fee will apply:
- Entertainment Quarter Wilson car park: Open 24 hours. Entry via Errol Flynn Boulevard from Lang Road.
- Showground Field (EP3) grass car park: Car park open from 4:45pm. Entry via the southern end of Driver Avenue, from Lang Road.
- Sydney Boys High School and Sydney Girls High School: Car park open from around 4:45pm. Entry via Cleveland Street. Use the Anzac Parade pedestrian bridge to get to and from the stadium
Note: EP2 Kippax Lake grass car park will not be open for this match.

Special Event Clearways
Special event clearways will be in place on roads in Moore Park and surrounding areas from 3pm until 11pm including on sections of Lang Road, Fitzroy Street, Moore Park Road, Albion Street, Cleveland Street, Flinders Street and Foveaux Street. Clearways are strict no-parking zones and also apply to local residents and Mobility Scheme Permit holders. Check signs before parking as vehicles left in special event clearways will be towed and a towing fee applies.
Transport Park&Ride Car Parks
Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours of free parking each day. If you have a ticket to an event that includes free Park&Ride parking, use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator. If you use a Transport Connect account to access Park&Ride, the boom gate will automatically open as you leave the car park so you’ll need to request a refund in your account.
