Important Travel Advice

With thousands of fans expected to attend each day, ticketholders are urged to plan ahead and consider all the available travel options ahead of time. Match tickets include travel on all public transport so leave the car at home.

  • Public transport is the best way to get to the SCG. Trains and metro services run regularly to the city where you can catch frequent light rail services to and from Moore Park, with extra services running before and after the match each day. The Moore Park light rail stop is just a short walk across from the SCG. Regular route buses also stop along Anzac Parade and Oxford Street. See the Moore Park walking map (pdf 550KB) to find your way.
  • Walk from Central to Moore Park via Foveaux Street or Devonshire Street and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway if you can (about 25 minutes). Arrive early to and explore local venues before heading into the match. See the Moore Park walking map (pdf 550KB) to find your way.
  • If driving is your only option, carpool with your group and arrive early to secure parking as spaces will be in high demand and car parks will fill quickly. Expect delays on roads approaching the precinct, particularly during weekday peak travel times. Also note that if you are travelling from the North Sydney area, there will be lane and on-ramp closures along the Warringah Freeway and other nearby roads due to the Warringah Freeway upgrade project. Visit livetraffic.com for more information.
  • Limited parking is available near the SCG at the Entertainment Quarter Wilson car park, grass car parks on Driver Avenue and Sydney Boys & Girls High School car park off Cleveland Street. A flat rate event parking fee will apply. Special event clearway parking restrictions around the SCG will also make street parking very limited. Check signs carefully when parking to avoid being towed.
  • If you are getting dropped off or picked up, use Errol Flynn Boulevard or Driver Avenue for drop-offs, and Errol Flynn Boulevard for pick-ups. To avoid traffic delays, consider other locations further away and then walking to the stadium.

Match ticket entitlements
