Important Travel Advice
With large crowds expected for each show, ticketholders should consider leaving the car at home and catching public transport to avoid getting caught in traffic delays. Significant delays are expected for weekend performances as multiple other events take place at nearby venues in the precinct, as well as during the Thursday and Friday evening peak. Performances are on Thursday to Sunday, from 4 to 14 September.
- Public transport is the best way to get to Olympic Park. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner or free Opal Travel app.
- Trains run regularly to Olympic Park from Lidcombe and the venue is a short walk from the station. Additional services will run to Olympic Park for Thursday and Friday shows.
- You'll need to use an Opal card or contactless payment card/device when travelling on public transport to and from the event. Register your details online at Opal or via the Opal Travel app ahead of time.
If you have no other option but to drive, you must have pre-booked parking:

- Carpool with your group and allow extra travel time. Significant delays are expected on roads approaching the precinct for Thursday and Friday performances as attendees travel in the busy evening peak, and across both weekends while multiple other events take place at nearby venues
- If you have pre-booked parking, follow the directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry. If you haven't pre-booked you'll need to catch transport as there will be no onsite parking available.
- Traffic will be very heavy after each show as attendees leave at the same time, while others also arriving into the precinct for other nearby events. Expect to allow up to an hour of additional travel time exiting car parks.
- You can also consider parking at a nearby train station commuter car park and continuing your trip by train to Olympic Park. You'll need to use an Opal card or contactless payment card/device when travelling on public transport
- Allow plenty of extra travel time on roads and plan your trip before leaving home. You can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.
