Important Travel Advice
With large crowds expected each concert night, ticketholders are urged to leave the car at home and catch public transport to avoid getting caught in traffic delays. Concert nights are on Wednesday 26, Friday 28 and Saturday 29 March.
- Public transport is the best way to get to Olympic Park. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner or free Opal Travel app.
- Trains run regularly to Olympic Park from Lidcombe and the venue is a short walk from the station.
- Additional trains will run to Olympic Park for Wednesday and Friday concerts.
- You'll need to use an Opal card or contactless payment card/device when travelling on public transport to and from the event. Register your details online at Opal or via the Opal Travel app ahead of time.
If you have no other option but to drive, you must have pre-booked parking:
- Parking will be in high demand, pre-book parking online to guarantee a car space, available until 23:59 the night before unless sold out prior..
- Allow extra travel time and carpool with your group. Traffic will be heavier than usual particularly during the weeknight shows. You can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.
- You can also consider parking at a nearby train station commuter car park and continuing your trip on one of the many extra trains running to Olympic Park.
- If you have pre-booked parking, follow the directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry. After the show, traffic will be very heavy as everyone leaves at the same time. Expect to allow up to an hour of additional travel time exiting car parks.
- If you're getting dropped off or catching rideshare, taxi ranks are located on Herb Elliott Avenue. Allow plenty of extra travel time on the roads.

More ways to pay
If you have a contactless-enabled American Express, Mastercard or Visa debit or credit card, or a linked device, you can use it to pay for your travel by tapping on and tapping off at Opal card readers.
