Important Travel Advice
Attendees are encouraged to plan their trip and consider all the available travel options ahead of time.
Trains run regularly to Olympic Park from Lidcombe and the venue is a short walk from the station.
You'll need to use an Opal card or contactless payment card/device when travelling on public transport to and from the event. Register your details online at Opal or via the Opal Travel app ahead of time.
Please note on Saturday 28 March major trackwork will take place on the City Circle, T1 North Shore Line and part of the Sydney Metro M1 Line. Buses replace T1 North Shore Line trains between Hornsby and Milsons Point. Trains do not run between Wynyard and Central, or on the City Circle. Metro services will not run between Macquarie Park and Victoria Cross. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.
If you have to drive, carpool with your group and pre-book your parking online ahead of time to secure a space – available until 11:59pm the night before the event unless sold out prior. Note P6 car park is closed due to Easter Show infrastructure.

Opal
You can use an Opal card for all modes of public transport in Sydney and surrounding regions, including metro, trains, buses, ferries and light rail.
Remember to top up your Opal card before you travel to avoid waiting in line at top-up machines. You can top up your card online or at an Opal retailer.
More ways to pay
If you have a contactless-enabled American Express, Mastercard or Visa debit or credit card, or a linked device, you can use it to pay for your travel by tapping on and tapping off at Opal card readers. Available on all public transport, contactless payments are another way to pay on the Opal network. Adult Opal fare pricing applies and you will receive Opal benefits, including daily and weekly fare caps.
Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city.
The M1 Metro North West & Bankstown Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham from early morning until late.
Due to planned trackwork Metro services will not run between Macquarie Park and Victoria Cross. Use T9 Line trains instead. Note T1 North Shore line trackwork is also taking place.
Change at Epping for a train to Strathfield to connect with trains to Lidcombe then Olympic Park.

Trains run regularly to Lidcombe where you can head to Platform Zero for a direct train to Olympic Park, running every 10 minutes until 12:30am.

- M1 Metro North West & Bankstown Line: Metro services will not run between Macquarie Park and Victoria Cross. Services run between Tallawong and Macquarie Park, and between Victoria Cross and Sydenham only. Buses run between Macquarie University and Victoria Cross. T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra and South Coast Line trains do not stop at Town Hall. Extra L2 and L3 light rail services run between Central, Town Hall, Wynyard and Circular Quay. - T1 Western Line: Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between: Richmond and Liverpool. Change at Parramatta for trains towards Central or Penrith and Central, platforms 1-14 only, making an extra stop at Burwood. City Circle and T1 North Shore Line trackwork may also affect how you travel
- T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: Buses replace Inner West trains between Ashfield and Central. Trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and Ashfield via Granville or Regents Park. Change at Strathfield for express trains to Central, or buses if you are travelling to stations between Summer Hill and Redfern. Remain on the train for Burwood, Croydon or Ashfield. City Circle train trackwork may also affect how you travel
- T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line: Buses replace Inner West trains between Ashfield and Central. Trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and Ashfield via Granville or Regents Park. Change at Strathfield for express trains to Central, or buses if you are travelling to stations between Summer Hill and Redfern. Remain on the train for Burwood, Croydon or Ashfield. City Circle trackwork may also affect how you travel
- T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: All Cronulla and some Waterfall trains make extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville but do not stop at Town Hall. For travel to Town Hall, change at Central for metro services to Gadigal. City Circle trackwork may also affect how you travel
- T5 Cumberland Line: Extra trains run between Richmond and Liverpool
- T6 Lidcombe & Bankstown Line: Trains run to a changed timetable and reduced frequency, every 30 minutes.
- T8 Airport & South Line: Most trains run to a changed timetable between Macarthur and Sydenham, or between Revesby and Central via the Airport. Change at: Revesby for trains to Central via the Airport or Sydenham for metro services to the City or T4 trains towards Bondi Junction. Early morning and late-night trains run between Macarthur and Central via the Airport. T8 trains do not run between Sydenham and the City. Some T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line trains make extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville but do not stop at Town Hall. For travel to Town Hall, use metro services to Gadigal. City Circle trackwork may also affect how you travel
- T9 Northern Line: Trains run to a changed timetable between Berowra or Hornsby and Central, platforms 1-14 only. Daily until 8am, trains run to a reduced frequency, every 30 minutes. Sydney Metro, T1 North Shore and City Circle train trackwork may also affect how you travel
- Central Coast & Newcastle Line: Sydney Metro, T1 North Shore and City Circle trackwork may affect how you travel.
- South Coast Line: Buses replace trains between Bomaderry and Wollongong. Buses do not run to the train timetable. You may need to catch an earlier bus if connecting with trains at Wollongong. Trains run between Port Kembla, Wollongong and Bondi Junction, but do not stop at Town Hall. For travel to Town Hall change at Central for metro services to Gadigal or use the light rail. City Circle trackwork may also affect how you travel
- Southern Highlands Line: From 4.40am to 4.50pm, buses replace trains between Goulburn, Moss Vale and Campbelltown. T8 Airport & South Line trains are affected by City Circle trackwork and run to a changed timetable between Campbelltown and Sydenham, and between Revesby and Central via the Airport.

The following Sydney bus services run to Olympic Park:
- Route 525 runs between Parramatta and Sydney Olympic Park via Newington.
- Route 526 runs between Strathfield and Rhodes Shopping Centre via Sydney Olympic Park precinct and wharf.
- Route 533 runs between Sydney Olympic Park and Chatswood via Rhodes & North Ryde.

The closest wharf to Qudos Bank Arena is Sydney Olympic Park Wharf. There is a connecting 526 bus to the venue or alternatively it is approximately a 40-minute walk (3.6km) from the wharf.
F3 Parramatta River services run regularly to Olympic Park, but services are very popular and may reach capacity. Keep this in mind if you’re planning on catching an F3 Parramatta River service. Plan your trip and allow plenty of extra travel time or consider the alternative public transport options available.
F3 Parramatta River ferries may be affected by low tide between Parramatta and Rydalmere and replaced by buses. Check for updates here.

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines
L2 Randwick Line light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford Line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Change at Central for trains to Lidcombe then Olympic Park.
Train trackwork on the City Circle and T1 North Shore Line may affect how you travel. Trains do not run between Central and Wynyard, or on the City Circle. Use light rail services between Central and Circular Quay. For travel to T1 North Shore Line stations use metro services to Victoria Cross, then change for a bus. Daily from 7am to 7pm, extra L2 and L3 light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick or Juniors Kingsford.
L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line
L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.
Alight at Parramatta Square and connect with a train service towards Olympic Park from Parramatta Station.
Passengers are reminded that trams can’t stop quickly or easily – so please stop, listen and look around for trams and use designated pedestrian crossings. Read the news story for more information.

Traffic will be heavier than usual on roads approaching the precinct as attendees travel to the concert.
Travel with your group and allow extra travel time on the M4, Parramatta Road, Homebush Bay Drive and Concord Road. Pre-book your parking online ahead of time to secure a space – available until 11:59pm the night before the event unless sold out prior.
To get to your carpark and avoid the heavy traffic congestion expected at the Homebush Bay Drive roundabout, use Silverwater Road, Holker Street and Hill Road.
Road Closures
Road closures and changes to parklands will be in place within the Sydney Olympic Park Precinct before, during and after the Easter Show for event set up and pack down.

Note P6 car park is closed due to infrastructure in place for the Easter Show.
Visit Sydney Olympic Park – Parking to secure your parking space ahead of the event, available until 23:59 the night before unless sold out prior. A flat rate $35 parking fee will apply.
If you have pre-booked a space, follow the directions of staff and have your parking ticket ready to show at the car park entry. Carpool with your group and allow plenty of additional travel time.
Use Silverwater Road, Holker Street and Hill Road to get to your car park and avoid the heavy traffic congestion expected at the Homebush Bay Drive roundabout. Traffic delays are expected after the event as attendees leave the precinct.
If you haven’t pre-booked, follow the variable message signs within Sydney Olympic Park to the best available casual parking.
