Better bus services for Lismore

Whether your heading to town or to Ballina and Nimbin, getting the bus is the best way to travel.

With recent network improvements, the Lismore region now has more bus services.

There are new weekend and Public Holiday services to connect you more reliably to where you need to go and the B-ConX On Demand service has extended the Saturday operating hours and added new Sunday services.

These news services launched in January are here to stay.

Nimbin to Lismore via Nimbin Rd
  • The current midday service that operates Monday and Thursday only, will be expanded to operate on all school days, Monday to Friday.

Lismore to Ballina via Goonellabah, Wollongbar and Alstonville
  • Additional weekday afternoon peak services.
  • Additional Saturday evening services.
  • The current additional weekend and public holiday services, currently operating as a trial to support flood recovery in the region, will be made permanent.
  • Services will be better spaced to operate at more regular intervals.

B-ConX On-Demand services
  • Extended Saturday operating hours – services will now operate until 6.30 pm.
  • New service on Sundays from 9 am to 6 pm.
