We’ve built something exciting, and we want you to be one of the first to experience it!
Our new Trip Planner is almost ready, and we’re giving you a sneak peek! You can access new features and help us improve them before the full launch.
What’s new:
- We gave the platform a fresh, modern look and made it easier to use.
- We combined journey plans and next departures into one flow, for a smoother experience.
- We have improved live tracking and disruption alerts, so you can get up-to-date information.
- You can still save your favourite trips and stops, and use filters to refine the results to suit your needs.
The data is real — not test data — so you can trust the results you are getting and use it just like the current Trip Planner.
The version is still a work in progress, so your feedback is incredibly valuable as we fine-tune the experience. Look for the feedback button located near the top right of the map in the sneak peek version.

The main change is that instead of two tabs for Trip Planner and Departure board, we now have a single search field.
You can still plan trips, see fare estimate, save favourites and more. The data is real, just like the current Trip Planner. Most of the changes are in the look and feel.

Yes, the current Trip Planner is still available at transportnsw.info/trip.
To switch back, go to the homepage or the Trip Planner landing page.
Yes. The sneak peek version uses real trip data, including live updates—just like the current Trip Planner.
