Celebrating 140 years in 2019, the Show is Bungendore’s key summer event and attracts patrons from all across the NSW region and the ACT. Offering a full complement of country show competition sections in all traditional areas - showcasing and celebrating the finest talent, animals, produce, businesses and services in the region. You will be transported back to the country shows of the past with a tug of war competition, a pet parade, children’s novelty events and the dog high jump and flat chat race. There's also Side Show Alley where you can pat Angus from Heavy Horse Heaven, cuddle a baby goat, and see award-winning horses, sheep and cattle whilst enjoying the largest dachshund event in the Southern Hemisphere, the multi award-winning Werriwa Wiener Dash.

The Canberra XPLORER runs three times a day from Sydney to Canberra and stops at Bungendore.
