Eat Merimbula is a premium foodie event held on the foreshore of Fishpen Merimbula, overlooking pristine waters and working oyster leases. The event features local chefs and restaurateurs gathering in a market style setting to create dishes featuring local produce. The dishes are presented in entrée sizes and prices are capped per dish. In 2018 the menu included tempters like steamed pork boa buns, a Balmain Bug Brioche, slow cooked brisket, rock oysters harvested from only metres away, Eden Mussel pies, local stone fruit crepes, 12 hour fermented artisan donuts and much much more. The event is free to enter and runs from 10am to 2pm.
