Event information

Enjoy one of NSW’s most unique running festivals. Be immersed in the hospitality and warmth of a thriving rural community and seize the special opportunity to run ‘around the world’.

Whether choosing the 5km, 10km, 21.1km for 42.2km race, runners will journey past animals from all over the globe at the famous Taronga Western Plains Zoo as well as following the course of the Macquarie River as it meanders peacefully through town, should the half marathon be the challenge. See thousands of animals as you walk, wheel or run. There are hundreds of species. Lemurs, giraffes, hippos, lions, apes, spider monkeys (the cute little ones), rhinos... all while raising awareness for species extinction.
