The closest station to Belmore Sports Ground is Belmore, and trains run to Belmore regularly on the T2 Inner West & Leppington Line and the T3 Bankstown Line. The venue is a short walk from the station down Burwood Rd and Leylands Parade.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Tallawong Station and Chatswood Station.

Metro services start from the early morning running every 10 minutes until late. Change at Epping for trains to Central to connect with T3 Bankstown Line trains to Belmore.

Trackwork

Weeknight trackwork is taking place from 2am Saturday 28 May until 2am Monday 30 May and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner:

  • T1 North Shore Line: From 1am until 5.50am, trains run between Berowra and Wynyard only. City Circle trains run between Wynyard and Central. Buses replace trains between Central and Strathfield.
  • T1 Western Line: Buses replace trains between Emu Plains and Blacktown. Trains run to a changed timetable between Richmond, Blacktown and the City. From 1am until 6am, trains run between Blacktown and Ashfield only, making extra stops at Flemington and Homebush. Buses replace all trains between Ashfield and Central.
  • T2 Inner West & Leppington Line: From 1am until 6am, buses replace trains between Strathfield or Ashfield and Central. Leppington trains run between Leppington and Olympic Park only.If you are travelling to the City change at Lidcombe for trains via Bankstown or change at Strathfield for a bus. Express buses leave from Strathfield, and all-stations buses leave from Ashfield.
  • T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Daily from 6.30am until 12.15pm, trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern. Some trains start or end at Hurstville or Sutherland. You may need to change trains to continue your journey. On Sunday from 1pm until 4pm, trains will not stop at Wolli Creek but will make an extra stop at Arncliffe. Buses run between Wolli Creek and Sydenham, and between Wolli Creek and Arncliffe. Change at Sydenham or Arncliffe for a bus to Wolli Creek. T8 Airport & South Line trains to and from the City continue to stop at Wolli Creek.
  • T8 Airport & South Line: From 9am until 3pm, trains may run to a changed timetable due to trackwork between Revesby and Turrella.
  • T9 Northern Line: From 1am until 5.50am, buses replace trains between Strathfield and Central. Trains run between Hornsby and Strathfield, some to a changed timetable.
  • Blue Mountains Line: Buses replace trains between Bathurst and Blacktown. T1 Western Line trains run between Blacktown and the City. These trains do not run to the Blue Mountains Line train timetable. If you are travelling to Lithgow to connect with NSW TrainLink Regional Coaches, please call 132 232 to confirm departure times. Buses replace the 01:17am Katoomba to Mount Victoria service.
  • Central Coast & Newcastle Line: Trains run between Central Coast & Newcastle Line stations and Strathfield only, some to a changed timetable. From 1am until 5.50am, buses replace trains between Strathfield and Central.
  • South Coast Line: On Sunday buses replace trains between Bomaderry and Kiama. Trains run between Kiama and Bondi Junction, some to a changed timetable. Daily from 6.30am until 12.15pm, some trains run to a changed timetable and make extra stops between Sutherland and Hurstville. On Sunday from 1pm until 4pm, trains will not stop at Wolli Creek, but make extra stops at Arncliffe and Sydenham. Buses run between Wolli Creek and Sydenham, and between Wolli Creek and Arncliffe. Change at Sydenham or Arncliffe for a bus to Wolli Creek.

A number or regular bus services make stops within walking distance of Belmore Sports Ground, including routes 415, 487, 490 and 942.

Punchbowl Bus Company also run services in the area to get you to the Sports Ground.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line

From Central catch a T3 Bankstown Line train to Belmore to get within walking distance of the sports ground.

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines

L2 Randwick light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Services run regularly, plan your trip using Trip Planner.

Traffic may be heavier than usual on roads approaching Belmore Sports Ground including Canterbury Road, Burwood Road, Leylands Parade, Edison Street, Palmer Street and Thorncraft Parade as crowds travel to and from the game.

Some local roads may close to ensure pedestrian safety during pre, during and following the event.
