Fans are encouraged to plan their trip and consider all the available travel options ahead of time.

Trains run regularly to Penrith on the T1 Western Line, which is within walking distance of BlueBet Stadium.

Remember, it’s mandatory to wear a face mask on public transport and you'll need to use an Opal card or contactless payment card/device. Register your details online at Opal or via the app ahead of time.

Opal

You can use an Opal card for all modes of public transport in Sydney and surrounding regions, including metro, trains, buses, ferries and light rail.

Remember to top up your Opal card before you travel to avoid waiting in line at top-up machines. You can top up your card online or at an Opal retailer.

If you have a contactless-enabled American Express, Mastercard or Visa debit or credit card, or a linked device, you can use it to pay for your travel by tapping on and tapping off at Opal card readers. Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Tallawong Station and Chatswood Station.

Metro services start from the early morning running every 10 minutes until late. Change at Epping for trains to Strathfield to connect with T1 Western Line trains to Penrith.

Please note, from 10pm until 1.30am buses replace metro services between Tallawong and Chatswood.

The closest station to Panthers Stadium is Penrith on the T1 Western Line. The stadium is approximately a 10-minute walk from the station.

Trackwork

Weeknight trackwork is taking place on Thursday 11 August and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner:

  • Metro North West Line: From 10pm until 1.30am, buses replace metro between Tallawong and Chatswood.
  • T1 North Shore Line: From 9.10pm until 1.30am, buses replace trains from Hornsby to Central. From 9.35pm until 1.30am, buses replace trains from Central to Hornsby. The last train from the City leaves Central at 9:32pm, arriving Hornsby at 10:24pm.
  • T1 Western Line: From 9.30pm until 1.30am, trains run between Penrith and Central.
  • T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: From 10.50pm until 2am, buses replace trains between Sutherland and Sydenham. Trains run to a changed timetable between Cronulla or Waterfall and Sutherland, and between Sydenham and Bondi Junction.
  • T9 Northern Line: From 9.40pm until 1.30am, trains run between Hornsby and Central.

Busways services the Penrith region with various routes making stops within walking distance of BlueBet Stadium.

The closest bus stop is located at the front of Panthers Penrith Leagues Club on Panthers Place, directly opposite Panthers Stadium on Mulgoa Road. There are also a number of bus stops on Station Street near the stadium.

Catch one of the many ferry services to Circular Quay and change for a train service to Central. From Central, trains run regularly to Penrith on the T1 Western Line.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line

L1 Dulwich Hill line light rail services run every 15 minutes between Central Grand Concourse and Dulwich Hill from 6am to 11pm daily, and until midnight on Fridays. Allow extra time, plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines

L2 Randwick light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Services run regularly, plan your trip using Trip Planner.
