Important Travel Advice

Fans are encouraged to plan their trip and consider all the available travel options ahead of time.  

The closest station to the stadium is Gosford on the Central Coast & Newcastle Line. The stadium is a short walk from the station.   

Remember, you'll need to use an Opal card or contactless payment card/device. Register your details online at Opalor via the Opal Travel app ahead of time. 

If you’re driving, travel with your group and use nearby local parking. Allow extra travel time as traffic will be heavier than usual as fans travel to the match in the busy evening peak. You can find real-time updates on traffic conditions livetraffic.com.  

Opal

You can use an Opal card for all modes of public transport in Sydney and surrounding regions, including metro, trains, buses, ferries and light rail.

Remember to top up your Opal card before you travel to avoid waiting in line at top-up machines. You can top up your card online or at an Opal retailer.

If you have a contactless-enabled American Express, Mastercard or Visa debit or credit card, or a linked device, you can use it to pay for your travel by tapping on and tapping off at Opal card readers. Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city. 

The M1 Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services in both directions between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham. Metro services start running from early morning, every 5 to 10 minutes, until late at night. 

Change at Epping or Central to connect with Central Coast & Newcastle Line trains to Gosford. 

Evening trackwork 

  • From 9.50pm, buses replace metro services between Macquarie University and Victoria Cross. Metro runs between Tallawong and Macquarie Park, and between Victoria Cross and Sydenham only. Change at Macquarie University, not Macquarie Park, for buses towards Victoria Cross. The last direct metro from Tallawong to Sydenham leaves Tallawong at 21:10, and the last metro from Sydenham to Tallawong leaves Sydenham at 21:24.  
  • From 9.40pm buses also replace T1 North Shore Line trains between Hornsby and Wynyard.  
  • If travelling between the City and Metro North West stations catch a train to Epping via Strathfield, then change for metro services towards Tallawong or Macquarie Park.

The closest station to Industree Group Stadium is Gosford on the Central Coast & Newcastle Line. From the station, the stadium is a short walk away via Showground Road and Dane Drive. 

Trackwork

Planned trackwork is taking place on Tuesday 11 February on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.

  • M1 Metro Line: From 9.50pm, buses replace metro services between Macquarie University and Victoria Cross. Metro runs between Tallawong and Macquarie Park, and between Victoria Cross and Sydenham only. Change at Macquarie University, not Macquarie Park, for buses towards Victoria Cross. The last direct metro from Tallawong to Sydenham leaves Tallawong at 21:10, and the last metro from Sydenham to Tallawong leaves Sydenham at 21:24. Buses also replace T1 North Shore Line trains between Hornsby and Wynyard.   • T9 Northern Line: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, trains run between Hornsby and Central, platforms 1-12 only, due to T1 North Shore Line trackwork. 
  • T5 Cumberland Line: From 11.50pm to 1.30am, some trains run to a changed timetable between Richmond or Leppington and Olympic Park only. Some trains start and end at Granville. 
  • T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: From 9.50pm to 2.30am, buses replace trains between Cronulla and Sutherland. Trains run between Waterfall, Sutherland and Bondi Junction, some to a changed timetable. 
  • T1 Western Line: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, trains run between Western Line stations and Central, platforms 1-12 only, due to T1 North Shore Line trackwork 
  • T1 North Shore Line: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, buses replace trains between Hornsby and Wynyard.  The last train from Wynyard leaves at 21:55 and arrives Hornsby at 22:35. Trains run between Berowra and Hornsby, some to a changed timetable. Buses also replace metro services between Macquarie Park and Victoria Cross. T1 Western and T9 Northern Line trains start and end at Central, platforms 1-12.

Red Bus Services and Busways service the Central Coast area.

Routes 19, 21, 22, 23, 64 and 67 run towards Gosford making stops near the stadium.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line

L1 Dulwich Hill line light rail services run between Central Station (Grand Concourse) and Dulwich Hill via Darling Harbour and the Inner West. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

At Central, change for a Central Coast & Newcastle Line train to Gosford Station.

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines

L2 Randwick light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford line services run between Circular Quay and Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Plan your trip using Trip Planner.

At Central, change for a Central Coast & Newcastle Line train to Gosford Station.

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Alight at Parramatta Square and connect with a train service towards Epping or Central to connect with Central Coast & Newcastle Line trains to Gosford.

Traffic will be heavier than usual on roads approaching the stadium as fans travel to the match in the busy evening peak. Allow extra travel time and use local parking.  

Dane Drive will close from 5.30pm between the Central Coast Highway and Donnison Street for the safety of pedestrians, and will reopen once crowds have cleared the area.

  • Baker Street car park (P1) is approximately 100m away.
  • Free parking is available 300m away at Gosford Train Station (P2).
