Trains and buses run regularly to Parramatta Station, where you can connect with light rail services from Parramatta Square to the Prince Alfred Square stop and walk to CommBank Stadium via Victoria Road. Alternatively, it's a 15-minute walk from the station. Some buses also make stops outside the stadium on O’Connell Street. Please note that due to planned trackwork, buses replace trains between Lidcombe and Strathfield. Trains run to a changed timetable between Penrith and Olympic Park. If you're travelling from the city you’ll need to change at Strathfield for replacement buses to continue your trip towards Paramatta. Plan ahead and allow extra travel time.
Traffic may be heavier than usual on roads approaching the precinct as fans travel to the match. Allow extra travel time, you can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.
Traffic will also be heavy following the match as everyone leaves car parks at the same time. Be patient and follow the directions of traffic controllers and Police. If you’re travelling home by taxi or rideshare, choose a pick-up location away from the stadium to avoid traffic delays.
Match Ticket Entitlements
Valid pre-purchased tickets to Western Sydney Wanderers 2025/26 season home games at CommBank Stadium includes travel to and from CommBank Stadium on the following transport services, just show your event ticket to transport staff when boarding:
- Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked services bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations)
- Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan buses
- Sydney Metro services
- Sydney, Parramatta and Newcastle Light Rail services
- Sydney and Newcastle Ferries
Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card or contactless payment method, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your event ticket is valid on the modes of public transport listed above until 4am the following day.
Note: an additional train station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by your event ticket travel entitlements.
Transport Park&Ride Car Parks
Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours of free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip. Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services.
Tickets to Western Sydney Wanderers 2025/26 season home games at CommBank Stadium include travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket.

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city.
Trackwork
- Due to planned weekend trackwork, Metro services will not run along the entire line between Tallawong and Sydenham on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 November.
- Buses replace metro services between Tallawong and Chatswood. Use trains for travel between Chatswood or Epping. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.
- Change at Chatswood or Central for a train service to Parramatta. Alternatively change at Epping for a bus, or for a train service to Strathfield, change for a rail replacement bus to Lidcombe, then change for trains to Parramatta.

Planned trackwork is taking place on Saturday 22 November on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.
- M1 Metro Line: Metro services do not run between Tallawong and Sydenham. Buses replace services between Tallawong and Chatswood only. Use trains between Chatswood, the City and Sydenham. For travel to and from Waterloo use local buses or trains from Redfern.
- T1 Western Line: Buses replace trains between Lidcombe and Strathfield. Trains run to a changed timetable between Penrith and Olympic Park. Change at Lidcombe for buses towards Strathfield. Trackwork buses do not leave from Olympic Park. Richmond trains run between Richmond and Liverpool. Change trains to continue your journey towards the City.
- T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: Buses replace trains between Lidcombe and Strathfield. Trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and Olympic Park via Granville and between Leppington and Lidcombe via Regents Park. Change at Lidcombe for buses towards Strathfield. Replacement buses do not leave from Olympic Park. You can also change at Glenfield for trains to the City via the Airport. Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Strathfield and T1 North Shore Line stations. You may need to change services to continue your journey. Trains to the City do not stop at Croydon or Ashfield. Buses run from Strathfield to Ashfield, stopping at all stations, in that direction only. Trains from the City stop at Ashfield and Croydon. Inner West trains run between Ashfield and the City Circle only.
- T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line: Buses replace trains between Lidcombe and Strathfield. Trains run to a changed timetable between Leppington and Lidcombe. Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Strathfield and T1 North Shore Line stations. You may need to change services to continue your journey. Trains to the City do not stop at Croydon or Ashfield. Buses run from Strathfield to Ashfield, stopping at all stations, in that direction only. Trains from the City stop at Ashfield and Croydon. Inner West trains run between Ashfield and the City Circle only.
- T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: From 6.30am to 12.15pm, trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern. Some trains start or end at Hurstville or Sutherland, and you may need to change trains. Trains may leave from different platforms, check indicator screens before boarding.
- T6 Lidcombe & Bankstown Line: Trains run to a changed timetable and reduced frequency, every 30 minutes,
- T7 Olympic Park Line: Trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Olympic Park and Lidcombe, continuing to Penrith or Leppington.
- Blue Mountains Line: Trains run between Blue Mountains Line stations and Blacktown only. Change at Penrith for express buses to Strathfield. T1 Western Line trains run between Penrith, Blacktown and Olympic Park. Buses replace trains between Lidcombe and Strathfield. Trains from Blacktown run to Blue Mountains Line stations run 30 minutes later than normal. Bathurst trains run to a changed timetable between Bathurst and Lithgow only, some to a changed timetable. Change trains at Lithgow to continue your journey.
- South Coast Line: From 6.30am to 12.15pm, some trains make extra stops between Sutherland and Hurstville.

A number of buses run to and from Parramatta Interchange, where you can connect with light rail services from Parramatta Square to Prince Alfred Square stop and walk to CommBank Stadium via Victoria Road. Alternatively, buses leave regularly from Stand A4 at Parramatta Interchange and make stops on O’Connell Street outside the stadium. These routes include 546, 600, 601, 603, 604, 606 and 706. All bus services are accessible.

The closest wharf to CommBank Stadium is Parramatta Wharf.
From the wharf, walk to the Robin Thomas light rail stop via the riverside and Argus Lane to connect with services to Prince Alfred Square to get within walking distance of CommBank Stadium.
F3 Parramatta River services run regularly to Parramatta but services are popular and may reach capacity. Plan your trip and allow plenty of extra travel time or consider the alternative public transport options available.

L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line

Fans are reminded that trams can’t stop quickly or easily – so please stop, listen and look around for trams and use designated pedestrian crossings.
L1 Dulwich Hill Line
L1 Dulwich Hill Line light rail services run between Central Station (Grand Concourse) and Dulwich Hill via Darling Harbour and the Inner West. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines
L2 Randwick light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Services run regularly, plan your trip using Trip Planner.
From Central, change for trains to Parramatta where you can connect with light rail services or walk to the stadium.

If you’re driving to the game, plan to arrive early as car parks in the area are expected to be in high demand. Traffic will be heavier than usual on roads approaching the stadium. Allow extra travel time on roads including Parramatta Road, Church Street, Victoria Road, James Ruse Drive and Pennant Hills Road.
Motorists should also exercise caution as pedestrian activity will be high on roads between Parramatta Interchange and the stadium.
Drivers are reminded that light rail services are running through Parramatta CBD. Trams can’t stop quickly or easily – so exercise extra caution when driving in the area.

Parramatta Car Parks
Fans driving to the game should allow plenty of extra travel time as parking is expected to be in high demand.
The following car parks are within walking distance of the stadium. There's no public parking available on-site at CommBank Stadium on game days:
- Eat Street Car Park, entry via George Street
- Justice Precinct Car Park, entry via Hunter Street
- Parramatta Station Car Park, entry via Wentworth Street
