Important event information
Attendees are encouraged to plan their trip and consider all the available travel options ahead of time. Public transport is the best way to get to The Entertainment Quarter.
Trains and Metro services to the city run regularly where you can connect with frequent light rail services to Moore Park from the city or south east. The Moore Park light rail stop is located a short walk across from The Entertainment Quarter. Plenty of regular route buses also make stops on Oxford St and Anzac Parade within walking distance.
You'll need to use an Opal card or contactless payment card/device when travelling on transport to and from the event. Register your details online at Opal or via the Opal Travel app ahead of time.
Please note Sydney Metro trackwork will be taking place during the event. Metro services will not operate across the entire line from Friday 3 to Monday 6 April, and there will be a partial closure on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 April between Sydenham and Chatswood that may affect your travel. If you have to drive, travel with your group and allow plenty of extra travel time. Parking is available near at The Entertainment Quarter multi storey car park, entry Errol Flynn Boulevard off Lang Road.
Traffic may be heavier than usual on roads approaching the precinct as attendees travel to and from the event, particularly during evening peaks and when sporting events are held at neighbouring SCG and Allianz Stadiums on 17, 18 and 19 April. Opal
You can use an Opal card for all modes of public transport in Sydney and surrounding regions, including metro, trains, buses, ferries and light rail.
Remember to top up your Opal card before you travel to avoid waiting in line at top-up machines. You can top up your card online or at an Opal retailer.
More ways to pay
If you have a contactless-enabled American Express, Mastercard or Visa debit or credit card, or a linked device, you can use it to pay for your travel by tapping on and tapping off at Opal card readers. Available on all public transport, contactless payments are another way to pay on the Opal network. Adult Opal fare pricing applies and you will receive Opal benefits, including daily and weekly fare caps.
Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Sydney’s north-west and south-west via the city.
The M1 Metro North West & Bankstown Line operates turn up-and-go Metro services in both directions between Tallawong, Chatswood and Sydenham running from early morning until late.
Change at Central to connect with light rail services to Moore Park leaving from Chalmers Street.
Please note that there is trackwork on the M1 Metro North West & Bankstown line that may impact your trip:
- Friday 3 to Monday 6 April Easter Long Weekend: Metro services will not run between Tallawong and Sydenham. Buses replace services between Tallawong and Chatswood only. Use trains between Epping or Chatswood, the City and Sydenham. For travel to and from Waterloo use local buses or trains from Redfern.
- Saturday 18 to Sunday 19 April: Metro services will not operate between Sydenham and Chatswood. Use train services between Sydenham and Chatswood. For travel to and from Waterloo use local buses or trains from Redfern. Metro services run between Tallawong and Chatswood.

The closest stations to the Entertainment Quarter are Central and Bondi Junction.
From Central catch a light rail service to Moore Park from Chalmers Street.
From Bondi Junction catch one of the many regular route buses from the Interchange to Oxford Street to get within walking distance of the precinct.
Trackwork
Planned trackwork is taking place during the event from Thursday 2 to Sunday 19 April that may affect how you travel to and from The Entertainment Quarter. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.
Thursday 2 April
- T1 Western Line: From 9.20pm to 1.30am, trains may run to a changed timetable and make extra stops at some stations between Seven Hills and Granville
- T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, buses replace trains between Leppington and Fairfield. Trains run to a changed timetable between Fairfield and the City, and between Glenfield and the City via the Airport. Inner West trains run to a changed timetable between Olympic Park or Homebush and the City.
- T3 Liverpool & Lidcombe Line: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, buses replace trains between Liverpool and Lidcombe. Trains run between Lidcombe and the City, to a changed timetable. You may need to change trains to continue your journey.
- T5 Cumberland Line: From 9.40pm to 1.30am, buses replace trains between Leppington and Fairfield. Trains run to a changed timetable between Fairfield and Richmond.
- T6 Lidcombe & Bankstown Line: From 9.10pm to 1.30am, buses replace trains between Bankstown and Lidcombe. Buses also replace T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line trains between Liverpool and Lidcombe
- South Coast Line: Buses replace the following trains: 09:20 Bomaderry to Kiama and 09:52 Kiama to Bomaderry.
Friday 3 – Monday 6 April Easter Long Weekend
- M1 Metro North West & Bankstown Line: Metro services do not run between Tallawong and Sydenham. Buses replace services between Tallawong and Chatswood only. For travel to and from Waterloo use local buses or trains from Redfern. Use trains between Epping or Chatswood, the City and Sydenham
- T1 North Shore Line: Sydney Metro trackwork may affect how you travel.
- T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line: On Saturday from 5am to 9am, trains run to a changed timetable between Liverpool and Lidcombe, and between Homebush and the City only. You may need to change trains to continue your journey. T1 Western and T2 Leppington trains run between Lidcombe and the City.
- T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Buses replace trains between Waterfall and Sutherland, and between Central and Bondi Junction. Trains run to a changed timetable between Cronulla, Sutherland and the City Circle, with some making extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville. Change at: Central for buses to Kings Cross and Edgecliff or Town Hall for express buses to Bondi Junction. Replacement buses do not leave from Martin Place. Local buses leave from nearby bus stops, or you can walk to Wynyard Station for trains to T4 Illawarra Line stations. Sydney Metro trackwork may also affect how you travel.
- T6 Lidcombe & Bankstown Line: On Saturday from 5am to 9am, trains run to a changed timetable and reduced frequency, every 30 minutes
- T8 Airport & South Line: Trains between Sydenham and the City Circle run to a changed timetable. Most trains via the Airport run to the normal timetable.
- T9 Northern Line: Sydney Metro trackwork may affect how you travel.
- Central Coast & Newcastle Line: Sydney Metro trackwork may affect how you travel.
- South Coast Line: Buses replace trains between Dapto, Port Kembla and Sutherland, and between Central and Bondi Junction. Trains run between Bomaderry, Kiama and Dapto, some to a changed timetable. T4 Illawarra Line trains run to a changed timetable between Sutherland and the City Circle. Change at: Central for buses to Kings Cross and Edgecliff or Town Hall for express buses to Bondi Junction. Metro services do not run between Sydenham and Tallawong. Replacement buses do not leave from Martin Place. Local buses leave from nearby bus stops, or you can walk to Wynyard Station for trains to T4 Illawarra Line stations

A number of regular Sydney Buses services stop along Anzac Parade near the precinct including routes 339, 374, 373 and 396.
From Bondi Junction Interchange, catch routes 333, 352 or 440 to Oxford Street or catch route 355 buses to Lang Road, which is within short walking distance of the Entertainment Quarter.

L1 Dulwich Hill Line
L1 Dulwich Hill Line light rail services run between Central Station (Grand Concourse) and Dulwich Hill via Darling Harbour and the Inner West. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.
From Central, change for a light rail service on the L2 or L3 Line to Moore Park leaving from Chalmers Street.
L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines
L2 Randwick Line light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford Line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using Trip Planner.
Catch L2 or L3 light rail services to Moore Park. The Moore Park stop is located along Anzac Parade across from the Entertainment Quarter.
L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line
L4 Westmead and Carlingford Line light rail services run between Carlingford and Westmead via Parramatta CBD. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.
Alight at Parramatta Square and connect with a train service to Central from Parramatta Station. From Central, catch a L2 or L3 Line service to Moore Park. The Moore Park stop is located along Anzac Parade across from the Entertainment Quarter.
Passengers are reminded that trams can’t stop quickly or easily – so please stop, listen and look around for trams and use designated pedestrian crossings.

If you have to drive, carpool with your group and arrive early to secure a parking space. Traffic will be heavier than usual as attendees travel to and from the event.
Trams are running between the CBD and South East so pedestrians are reminded to exercise caution around the tram tracks and cross at designated pedestrian crossings.
Road closures
Driver Ave at Moore Park will be partially closed during events at the SCG and Allianz Stadium nearby on the following dates:
- Friday 17 April from 3.30pm
- Saturday 18 April from 3.30pm
- Sunday 19 April from 4.30pm
No through traffic will be available on Driver Avenue after these times.

Entertainment Quarter Parking
Parking is available at The Entertainment Quarter multi storey car park, entry Errol Flynn Boulevard off Lang Road.

Special Event Clearways
Special event clearways will be in place on roads in Moore Park for events at neighbouring SCG and Allianz Stadium on sections of Albion Street, Lang Road and Moore Park Road, Cleveland Street and Fitzroy Street.
Clearways will be in effect on the following dates and times, check signs carefully to avoid being towed.
- Friday 17 April for Super Rugby and AFL from 6am to midnight
- Saturday 18 April for A-League Sydney FC v Perth Glory from 6am to 11pm
- Sunday 19 April for NRL Roosters v Knights from 6am to 7pm
Clearways are strict no-parking zones, and apply even to local residents or Mobility Scheme Permit holders. Check signs before parking as vehicles left in special event clearways will be towed and a towing fee applies. Visit Live Traffic NSW to see the locations of special event clearways.
