Important travel advice
Attendees are encouraged to plan their trip and consider all the available travel options ahead of time.
The closest station to the Motorsport Park is Blacktown however be aware that trackwork is taking place on the weekend. For those attending on Friday trains will run as normal to and from Blacktown.
- 21-22 Feb weekend: Buses will replace T1 Western Line trains between Emu Plains and Parramatta, and T5 Cumberland Line trains between Blacktown and Parramatta.
- Allow extra travel time as you will need to catch a rail replacement bus to Blacktown to complete your journey by connecting with an event shuttle bus to the venue. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.
From Blacktown station, an event shuttle bus will connect you to Sydney Motorsport Park.
Remember, you'll need to use an Opal card or contactless payment card/device when travelling on public transport to and from the event. Register your details online at Opal or via the Opal Travel app ahead of time. Shuttle bus trips are included with your event ticket.
If you're driving, allow extra travel time as traffic will be heavier than usual across the weekend. Arrive early to avoid the delays and secure a car space. Limited parking will be available onsite at Sydney Motorsport Park.

Opal
You can use an Opal card for all modes of public transport in Sydney and surrounding regions, including metro, trains, buses, ferries and light rail.
Remember to top up your Opal card before you travel to avoid waiting in line at top-up machines. You can top up your card online or at an Opal retailer.

- Use trains between Epping or Chatswood, the City and Sydenham
- For travel to and from Waterloo use local buses or trains from Redfern.

Change at Epping or Central to connect with train services to Parramatta where you can connect with replacement buses to Blacktown. From Blacktown station, you can catch an event shuttle bus to get to Sydney Motorsport Park.

- Friday: Shuttle buses will leave Blacktown Interchange Stand J every hour from 11am to 9pm. Return buses to the station will leave Sydney Motorsport Park (Gate C) hourly between 11:30am and 9.30pm.
- Saturday: Shuttle buses will leave Blacktown Interchange Stand J every 30 minutes to every hour between 11am and 11:20pm. Return buses to the station will leave Sydney Motorsport Park (Gate C) every 30 minutes to every hour between 11:30am and 11.40pm.
- Sunday: Shuttle buses will leave Blacktown Interchange Stand J every hour from 8.30am to 6.30pm. Return buses to the station will leave Sydney Motorsport Park (Gate C) hourly between 9am and 7pm.
Keep in mind these shuttle buses are limited so allow extra travel time.

Weekday – Friday 20 February
- T1 Western Line: From 10pm to 2am, buses replace trains between Emu Plains and St Marys. Trains run between St Marys and the City, some to a changed timetable.
- Blue Mountains Line: Buses replace trains between Lithgow and Mount Victoria. Trains run between Mount Victoria and Central, some to a changed timetable. Bathurst trains run to a changed timetable between Bathurst and Lithgow or Central. from 8.50pm, buses replace trains from Lithgow to Blacktown. The last train to Central leaves Mount Victoria at 19:56, arriving Central at 22:17. From 10.40pm, buses replace trains from Blacktown to Lithgow. The last train to the Blue Mountains leaves Central at 21:09, arriving Mount Victoria 23:30. T1 Western Line trains run between the City and St Marys, to a changed timetable. Change at Blacktown for buses to Blue Mountains Line stations.
Weekend – Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 February

- T1 Western Line: Buses replace trains between Emu Plains and Parramatta. Trains run to a changed timetable between Richmond and Blacktown, and between Parramatta and the City. Saturday from 6.30am to 10.30am, trains make an extra stop at Burwood.
- T2 Leppington & Inner West Line: On Saturday from 6.30am to 10.30am, Inner West trains run between Ashfield and the City only. Leppington trains make extra stops at Homebush and Croydon. Some T1 trains make an extra stop at Burwood. You may need to change trains to continue your journey.
- T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line: On Saturday from 6.30am to 10.30am, trains run to a changed timetable between Liverpool and Lidcombe, and between Ashfield and the City only. You may need to change trains to continue your journey. T1 Western and T2 Leppington trains run between Lidcombe and the City.
- T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line: Buses replace trains between Central and Bondi Junction, but do not stop at Martin Place. Trains run to a changed timetable between Cronulla, Waterfall and the City Circle, with some making extra stops at St Peters and Erskineville. Change at: Central for buses to Kings Cross and Edgecliff or Town Hall for express buses to Bondi Junction. Metro services do not run between Sydenham and Tallawong. Daily from 6.30am to 12.15pm, some trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern. Some trains start or end at Hurstville or Sutherland. You may need to change trains to continue your journey. Trains may leave from different platforms, please check indicator screens before boarding. Sunday from 1pm to 4pm, trains do not stop at Wolli Creek but make an extra stop at Arncliffe. Buses run between Sydenham, Wolli Creek and Arncliffe. Change at Arncliffe or Sydenham for a bus to Wolli Creek or change at Central for a T8 Airport train if you have luggage or accessibility needs.
- T5 Cumberland Line: Buses replace trains between Blacktown and Parramatta. Trains run to a changed timetable between Richmond and Blacktown, and between Parramatta or Leppington and the City via Granville. You may need to change services to continue your journey.
- T6 Lidcombe & Bankstown Line: On Saturday from 6.30am to 10.30am, trains run between Bankstown and Lidcombe to a changed frequency, every 30 minutes.
- T8 Airport & South Line: Trains between Sydenham and the City Circle run to a changed timetable. Trains via the Airport run to the normal timetable. Sunday from 1pm to 4pm, trackwork at Wolli Creek may affect how you travel to T4 or South Coast Line stations. T4 trains do not stop at Wolli Creek. Buses run between Sydenham, Wolli Creek and Arncliffe. Change at Central if you have luggage or accessibility needs.
- T9 Northern Line: Buses replace metro services between Tallawong and Chatswood. For travel to T1 North Shore Line stations change at Hornsby, not Epping. Change at Epping for buses towards Tallawong or Chatswood.
- Blue Mountains Line: Buses replace trains between Bathurst and Parramatta. T1 Western Line trains run between Parramatta and the City, to a changed timetable.
- Central Coast & Newcastle Line: Most trains run between Central Coast & Newcastle Line stations and Strathfield only. Change trains at Strathfield to continue your journey. Buses replace metro services between Tallawong and Chatswood. For travel to T1 North Shore Line stations change at Hornsby, not Epping. Saturday from 7.50pm to Sunday 7.50am, buses replace trains between Wyong and Hornsby. Trains run to a changed timetable between Newcastle Interchange and Wyong. T1 North Shore and T9 Northern trains run between Berowra, Hornsby and the City.
- South Coast Line: Trains run to a changed timetable between South Coast Line stations and Hurstville only. T4 Illawarra Line trains run to a changed timetable between Hurstville and the City Circle. Buses replace trains between Central and Bondi Junction, but do not stop at Martin Place. Delays are expected on roads approaching Eastern Creek, including on the M7 Motorway, M4 Western Motorway, Great Western Highway, Ferrers Road, Wallgrove Road, Prospect Highway and Reservoir Road as crowds travel to and from the event. Allow plenty of extra travel time and follow signs for parking.
Limited free parking will be available at Sydney Motorsport Park, in the Dragway via Gate D off Ferrers Road.
