South Mosman Wharf temporary closure

From Monday 3 June, South Mosman Wharf is being upgraded to improve accessibility as part of the Safe Accessible Transport program and will be closed to the public for around eight months, weather and site conditions permitting.

The last ferry service will still service South Mosman Wharf on Sunday 2 June, and the temporary closure of South Mosman Wharf will not change the timetable for ferry services to other wharves on the F6 route.

Ferry passengers will need to use alternative transport during the wharf closure. Alternative transport options during construction include:

  • Ferry services from Mosman Bay Wharf will continue as usual. Mosman Bay Wharf can be accessed by walking or bike riding or by taking the 230 bus to the wharf. The 230 bus can be accessed via the 111 bus to Canrobert Street changing to the 230 bus on Avenue Road, a short walk away.
  • 230 bus services from Raglan Street to North Sydney and other destinations.

Allow extra travel time and plan ahead by using the Trip Planner.
