Service adjustments for buses in the Newcastle and Greater Newcastle area

From Saturday 1 June, timetables and routes for some Newcastle and Greater Newcastle buses will be adjusted to improve reliability and efficiency.

Key service adjustments include:

  • Timetable adjustments to ensure more timely services and improvements to on time running for the follow routes:
    • 160 Cessnock to Newcastle
    • 161 Hospital Hill and Vineyard Grove Hoppa
    • 162 Cessnock to Abernethy
    • 164 Cessnock to Greenhills
    • 166 Kurri to Greenhills
    • 168 Cessnock to Millfield
    • S855, S856, S862, S863, S866, S868, S871, S872, S873, S876, S880, S898, S904, S917, S924, S935 & S865
  • Minor route path changes to Route 164 and 166 services, to provide more efficient journeys.
