Sydney Light Rail service disruptions on L1, L2 and L3 Lines

From 11.59pm Thursday 14 November until 5am Sunday 17 November, the frequency of Sydney light rail services will be reduced due to industrial action.

If you travel by Light Rail, please look to use other travel options such as regular route buses and train services, and allow extra travel time.

Staff will be stationed at busy points across the network to help guide passengers.

The following reduced timetable will run on Friday. Saturday’s schedule is still to be decided depending on staff availability.

Friday timetable:

  • 7am – 7pm: Trams every 10 minutes between Central and Lilyfield.
  • 7am – 7pm: Buses between Lilyfield and Dulwich Hill.
  • Before 7am and after 7pm: Buses between Central and Dulwich Hill.
  • 7am – 7pm: Trams every 10 minutes between Central and Randwick.
  • Before 7am and after 7pm: Buses to Randwick.
  • No L2 trams in the CBD, passengers should use Metro, Sydney Trains buses and active transport.
  • No Light Rail services will operate, passengers should use Metro, Sydney Trains and buses, active transport.
  • Between 5am and 1am: Buses between Central and Kingsford.
